Actor AnnaSophia Robb sat down with L'OFFICIEL to discuss her many looks worn throughout the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, her favorite films, and her style inspo.&nbsp;

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/annasophia-robb-interview-2019">AnnaSophia Robb</a> made a splash in the industry with her stirring performance as Leslie Burke in the 2007 adaptation of Bridge to Terabithia. Remember when everyone said that they left a children&rsquo;s fantasy film weeping? It was because of her. Over the past decade and change, she&rsquo;s established an impressive body of work and with a strong style POV (she did, after all, play a young <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/reformation-recreates-carrie-bradshaw-sex-and-the-city-dior-newspaper-dress">Carrie Bradshaw</a> on The CW&rsquo;s short-lived but much-beloved The Carrie Diaries). 
Robb just completed her first Tribeca Film Festival as a juror. The 30 year-old actor, who works with stylist Yael Quint spoke to L&rsquo;OFFICIEL about her style approach for the festival, which included many events with different style briefs, from ceremonies requiring striking evening look to a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/chanel-tribeca-festival-artists-dinner">Chanel</a> lunch with a daytime tea vibe. L&rsquo;OFFICIEL: Is this your first Tribeca Film festival? What&rsquo;s it like?
AnnaSophia Robb: This is my first time attending as a juror! I&rsquo;ve had projects premiere at Tribeca before but this year feels really special because I get to watch and discuss films and think deeply. It&rsquo;s a dream,
L&rsquo;O: Any favorite films that you saw?
ASR: I loved Tom Nesher&rsquo;s Come Closer, it&rsquo;s a stunning, dangerous, and powerful film and the two lead actresses absolutely astounded me. I loved every minute. Searching for Amani is a very special documentary, about the consequences of climate change and imperialism on a young man and his family&mdash;it takes on a huge global issue and really humanizes the impact of these forces.&nbsp; And Simon, the young boy, is such a beacon of hope. Truly the scariest movie I&rsquo;ve ever seen is this documentary Witches which will be on Mubi. The writer/director/subject/ editor uses her personal mental health experiences paired with fabulous cinema footage to explore how women have been demonized and ostracized since the witch trials. It really opened my eyes to mental health and pregnancy and I think everyone should watch it.
L&rsquo;O: What inspired your looks?
ASR: For the opening we were going for a more old Hollywood vibe, something classic but also fresh for summer. I loved that pink fabric and the bow. For <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/behind-the-scenes-chanel-resort-2022-details-virginie-viard">Chanel&rsquo;s</a> &ldquo;Through Her Lense&rdquo; event, we pulled from the latest collection, it&rsquo;s giving <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/clueless-outfits-iconic-fashion-moments-movie-anniversary">Clueless</a> energy and I love a film reference. For the closing ceremony we had a bunch of dresses, but <a href="https://www.lofficielmonaco.com/fashion/new-collections-from-up-and-coming-brands-you-need-to-know-about">Mirror Palais</a> always has the chicest tiny dresses. Professional hotness.&nbsp;

L&rsquo;O: How do you approach Hair and makeup?
ASR: I like to keep it clean, not too heavy, and have fun.
L&rsquo;O: Do you have a vision of how you want to look or do you let your team do the cooking so to speak?
ASR: We collaborate, it&rsquo;s always more fun that way. Yael [Quint, Robb's stylist] loves vintage and film as well, so she&rsquo;s always cooking up ideas and we send things we like to each other constantly. Yael and I will share the look with HMU and then get everyone&rsquo;s input, I usually make a lil Pinterest board if I have time. I like to mix things up and opt for doing different glam just bc it&rsquo;s more fun, like playing different characters but I also just love to see what inspires the team, because once I have a crew I trust I want them to do their thing and have fun and for them to push my boundaries as well.
L&rsquo;O: What do you do while you get glam: play music, chat?
ASR: Usually we chat, eat (to my makeup artists chagrin).
L&rsquo;O: Describe your personal style. What brands do you gravitate toward?
ASR: Mmm, my style really depends on my mood. I recently discovered this brand Orseund Iris, which I love, I&rsquo;m a big Paloma Wool, Sandy Liang, Kallmeyer fan. I live in Repetto flats and Maryam Nassir Zadeh wedges in the summer. My fav Brooklyn shop is <a href="https://thegreateros.com/">The Great Eros.</a> Everything there is a staple. I buy too many things on The Real Real and I love vintage finds... Prada, YSL, Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano, Ralph Lauren. Honestly vintage Gap from the '90s has excellent fits and is more petite (I struggle as someone in the 5&rsquo;2&rdquo; community). Everything needs hemming. I need to take sewing classes!

L&rsquo;O: Favorite fashion era?
ASR: For this summer, I&rsquo;m vibing French fashion in the 60s. All things Brigitte Bardot and Audrey.
L&rsquo;O: Have you ever had a celebrity encounter that left you starstruck?
ASR: Honestly, last week I was having a conversation during one of the Tribeca dinners and I turned around and Whoopi Goldberg was right behind me. In all white, of course. I couldn&rsquo;t speak! What does one say to Whoopi? She&rsquo;s iconic forever.&nbsp;
L&rsquo;O: How do you unwind after an event? Or in this case, a long series of events?
ASR: I like to take a long shower and think on moments that made me happy or stood out and just think can you believe?!&nbsp; I&rsquo;m trying to be more mindful about reflecting because things happen so fast and life is precious and worth getting giddy.
