For the wild dressers out there, a new animal-inspired pattern is taking over fall 2025&mdash;and we're already fawning over it.

While the fashion world will never be tired of the timeless <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/cheetah-print-bikinis" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cheetah</a>, snake, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/hailey-bieber-zebra-print-micro-bikini-coachella-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">zebra</a> prints, a new nature-inspired motif is entering the chat this season: the Bambi print. Also known as deer or fawn print, this is the pattern fashion enthusiasts are fawning over for fall 2025. Whereas the usual <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/animal-print-trend-style-inspiration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">animal prints</a> have the strength to bring a (literal) wild twist to any outfit, the Bambi print delivers a softer, more nuanced look.
Trending on and off in the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/annabelle-selldorf-architect-furniture-design-vica" target="_blank" rel="noopener">furniture</a> and upholstery scene&mdash;think cushions, carpets, dining chairs&mdash;the Bambi motif has enjoyed several brief moments in the fashion spotlight over the past decade. Carven, for instance, presented a sophisticated lineup of deer-print pieces throughout the Fall/Winter 2013 runway, ranging from knee-length coats to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/midi-skirts-to-shop" target="_blank" rel="noopener">midi skirts</a>. Years later, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/burberry-holiday-campaign-riccardo-tisci-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Riccardo Tisci</a>'s debut collection for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/burberry-spring-summer-2026-collection-runway-images-lfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Burberry</a>, presented in September 2018, featured both men&rsquo;s and women&rsquo;s designs adorned with the tender motif. One standout menswear shirt even read the phrase Why Did They Kill Bambi&mdash;a nod to the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/vivienne-westwood-sex-pistols-punk-fashion-history" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sex Pistols</a> song&mdash;adding a curious punk twist to the organic print.

Fast forward to 2025: designers continue&nbsp;to toy with this charming pattern, positioning it as a strong contender for the fall season. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/david-koma-blumarine-creative-director" target="_blank" rel="noopener">David Koma</a>, for instance, introduced a graphic fawn-spotted print across everything from capes to swimsuits in his <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/resort-2025-fashion-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Resort 2025</a> collection. His gradient interpretation, reminiscent of a deer&rsquo;s underbelly, highlights this motif&rsquo;s textural capabilities while revealing a more emotional side to traditional animal prints.&nbsp;
Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/tory-burch-spring-summer-2026-collection-runway-images" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tory Burch</a> offered a more mature twist on the Bambi print for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/tory-burch-fall-winter-2025-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fall/Winter 2025</a>. A less obvious take on this trendy design, Burch&rsquo;s elegant ensembles exuded a more earthy and grounded feel&mdash;almost encouraging us to get lost in the forest in those camouflaged sets. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/brandon-maxwell-fall-winter-2025-collection-runway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brandon Maxwell</a> also presented his own spin on Bambi for the Fall/Winter 2025 season, showcasing deer prints in different dimensions and grey-tinted palettes. From sculpted winter dresses to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/fall-winter-2024-accessories-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">caped coats</a>, Maxwell encourages us to tiptoe gracefully through the city streets in speckled fawn prints.

Tory Burch Fall/Winter 2025

While we&rsquo;ll always have a soft spot in our hearts (pun intended) for ever-elegant animal motifs, the Bambi print certainly feels like a breath of fresh air. A younger, more organic way to embrace wild patterns, the fawn print even holds the potential to become the polka-dot of cold dressing&mdash;just wait and see.
