Shona Guerin
Alyson Kierans is not Keoghan's only ex-girlfriend who has made headlines.
If any of you fangirls want some hope that you, too, can have a chance with a big celebrity, look no further than Keoghan's earliest known romance with Shona Guerin in 2017. A local waitress at a pub Keoghan frequented sparked a long-term romance between the pair. Guerin was often Keoghan's plus one to red carpet and film events. During an appearance on Livin' With Lucy in 2019, he shared, "She's made me a man. She's the woman I envision spending the rest of my life with."
However, despite their promising start, the couple parted ways in 2020. Speculations arose among fans when they noticed the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram, and then Keoghan found himself in an even more serious entanglement in 2021.
Alyson Kierans
After meeting at a bar in London in 2021, Barry Keoghan and Alyson Kierans hit it off almost immediately and a full-fledged romance ensued.
They kept their relationship private for the most part, but in April 2022, Kierans took to Instagram with a big announcement to her followers. “Every day is another day closer to meeting the love of my life #15weeks&counting,” her caption wrote, announcing her pregnancy with the actor. After the baby's arrival in September 2022, he took to his own Instagram to celebrate the birth of Keoghan's son, Brando. “B R A N D O ya’Charmer, ” the caption read.
Upon his son's arrival, Keoghan was doing double duty as a new father while filming fan favorite Saltburn, co-starring alongside the Internet's other favorite boyfriend, Jacob Elordi.
Besides their apparent shared love for their son Brando, Kierans and Keoghan also made occasional public appearances together at major events like the 2023 Academy Awards, as well as the screening of Keoghan's film Eternals in 2021.
However, soon after the 2023 Academy Awards, rumors arose of the pair's split around July 2023 after three years of dating. In early 2024, Keoghan confirmed these dating history rumors in an interview with GQ. Although Keoghan didn't share any details about the split, he did relish in bragging about her skills as a mother and their co-parenting. “She’s done a great job, and she’s an incredible mother."
Sabrina Carpenter
Most recently linked to American singer Sabrina Carpenter, Keoghan hasn't been too shy in showing his affection for the 24-year-old. The now couple reportedly met at the Givenchy Spring/Summer 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week last year, and were officially seen together for the first time two months later in L.A. In March, Keoghan attended Taylor Swift's show in Singapore to support Carpenter, who's currently opening for the singer's Eras Tour.
The pair was most recently seen together in Coachella, where Carpenter performed on April 12. Fans were quick to spot Keoghan's excitement watching Carpenter perform— the actor took countless videos during her performance to show his loving support. Another fan's video shows the couple in a golf cart together riding through the music festival. Keoghan and Carpenter were also seen alongside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, the double date we all needed.
Additionally, while Carpenter sang the outro to "Nonsense" during her recent Coachella performance, she referenced the infamous bathtub scene from Keoghan's 2023 film Saltburn.
“Made his knees so weak, he had to spread mine. He’s drinkin’ my bath water like it’s red wine,” Carpenter playfully sang with a mischievous smile on her face. The crowd immediately caught on to the lyric change and roared with cheers. While Keoghan's reaction wasn't documented, it's fair to assume the actor gushed with adoration for the singer.
So, bad news for the fangirls that were hoping Keoghan is single, since it appears the two aren't slowing things down anytime soon.
