At the Cannes Film Festival, one of the entertainment industry's most high-profile annual events, Hollywood's best and brightest stars fête the premieres of their latest films, celebrate the accomplishments of their peers, and show up to red carpet after red carpet in style. This year, celebrities brought not only their most stunning gowns and sharpest tuxedos, but their children.

While some stars opt to keep their children out of the spotlight, others take the opportunity to show their kids a once-in-a-lifetime red carpet experience, preparing them for a future of awards shows and camera flashes ahead of them.

Sienna Miller

Model and actress Sienna Miller was spotted on the red carpet of Horizon: An American Saga premiere with her partner, fellow actor Oli Green, and her 11-year-old daughter, Marlowe Sturridge, who made her red carpet debut at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. The only member of Miller's family absent from the red carpet affair was Miller's newborn daughter, which came as no surprise given that the model gave birth just a few months ago.

Francis Ford Coppola

For the highly anticipated premiere of his self-funded, 120 million dollar film, Megalopolis, director Francis Ford Coppola invited his son, Roman Coppola, and several of his grandchildren, Cosima Mars and Romy Mars, to share in the grand culmination of over 40 years of work.

Kevin Costner

At the premiere of Horizon: An American Saga on May 19, 2024, Kevin Costner made waves in the press after bringing five of his seven children along to the red carpet. Cayden Wyatt Costner, Lily Costner, Hayes Costner, Grace Avery Costner, and Annie Costner appeared on the carpet in their finest formal attire ahead of the premiere with their father. In Horizon: An American Saga, Hayes Costner made his acting debut at just 15 years old, and the 2024 Cannes Film Festival marked his first red carpet appearance.

Richard Gere

Acclaimed American actor Richard Gere was spotted on the red carpet hand-in-hand with his wife, Alejandra Silva, with their 24-year-old son, James Jigme Gere, trailing not far behind. The family attended the premiere of Oh, Canada—the Paul Schrader-directed drama, starring Gere, Uma Thurman, Jacob Elordi, Kristine Froseth, and Michael Imperioli—on May 18, 2024.
