Hedi Slimane Unveils Celine's Fall/Winter 2022 Collection in Paris
In a showcase directed by Hedi Slimane, Celine’s new collection is a sleek take on cool-girl fashion trends.
Celine’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection is the quintessential “it-girl” wardrobe. “Celine 14 dans Paris” was filmed at two landmark Paris locations with extensive royal history, including the grand Hôtel de la Marine and the Hôtel National des Invalides. Typical of most Celine productions, the showcase was completely designed, styled, and directed by Creative Director Hedi Slimane.
Beautifully tailored trench coats are styled with straight-leg jeans, sequin dresses are layered underneath open blazers, and cow print fur coats make a casually cool statement. With dazzling accessories including chunky gold chains, cat-eye shades, and over-the-knee Chelsea boots, Slimane brings his classic sleek aesthetic to a Parisian girl-about-town setting.
Celine also introduces new trends and reimagines current popular styles. Knit sweaters are paired with animal print midi-skirts, leather is incorporated in a variety of forms from heeled boots to turtleneck dresses, and sporty sweatshirts are transformed into everyday mini dresses.
