In her latest release, Swift added a track titled "Clara Bow" as the final song on the album.&nbsp;Fans have taken to social media to speculate the meaning behind the lyrics of the song, where <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/taylor-swift-bikini-swim-style-outfits" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Swift</a> softly sings:&nbsp;
"You look like Clara Bow In this light, remarkable All your life, did you know You'd be picked like a rose?"

While her career got off to a slow start, Bow earned the recognition she needed to jumpstart her star status after appearing in the 1922 film, Down to the Sea in Ships. Although she wasn't billed as a starring <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/scarlett-johansson-net-worth-highest-paid-actress-in-the-world" target="_blank" rel="noopener">actress</a>, her impassioned performance earned the film positive reviews from critics.&nbsp;

In 1924, Clara Bow starred in Maytime, an adaptation of a popular operetta, which marked her first true Hollywood film. Not long after arriving in California, Bow was cast by director Frank Lloyd&mdash;one of the founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences&mdash;as the high-society, glamorous flapper Janet Oglethorp in Black Oxen. "Bow is the personification of the ideal aristocratic&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/lace-fashion-history-symbol-lingerie-chanel-fendi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">flapper</a>, mischievous, pretty, aggressive, quick-tempered and deeply sentimental," Lloyd told the <a href="https://newspaperarchive.com/entertainment-clipping-mar-05-1924-3766950/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">press</a> after casting her.&nbsp;
A busy young actress, Bow acted in countless films per year during this period in her life, with each project seemingly inching her closer and closer to the star status she sought. Aside from her enchanting on-screen presence, Bow became widely recognized for her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/brigitte-bardot-beauty-inspiration-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stunning looks</a> and mischievous personality.&nbsp;
