Gabrielle Union has always been a style icon since her emergence in the late ‘90s. Her play with textures such as metallics and sequins, along with her embracement of popular trends of the time such as halter tops, low-rise pants, slip dresses, and bra tops have made her a Y2K fashion favorite. Her style inspiration from her on-screen moments were just as influential as her red carpet looks. 

Her iconic role as Isis in the fan-favorite movie Bring It On still has the girls whipping out the green, yellow, and red cheerleading uniform for Halloween. With the revival of Y2K fashion still very prevalent in the current trend cycle, it’s no surprise that looks from Union’s past have been put on the moodboard.
