The acclaimed actress, director, and 2024 Cannes Jury President has pulled out all the style stops since the beginning of the festival.

Although the&nbsp;Barbie&nbsp;director has long favored elegant, classically chic styles, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/2024-cannes-film-festival-coastal-fashion-meryl-streep-greta-gerwig" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Greta Gerwig</a> has flaunted stunning styles one after another during her 2024 Cannes appearances.&nbsp;
For the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival, Gerwig is serving as the jury president, so all eyes are on her as she graces each red carpet and makes daytime appearances at various events.&nbsp;
Just a few short days after the festival began, the director had already made waves with her refreshing looks. From embracing aspects of the coastal chic <a href="xhttps://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/french-riviera-travel-guide" target="_blank" rel="noopener">French Riviera</a> fashion to going full Hollywood glam on the red carpet, Gerwig seems to have nailed look after look in Cannes.&nbsp;

At the highly anticipated premiere of&nbsp;Megalopolis&mdash;Francis Ford <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/sofia-copolla-debuts-augustinus-bader-collab" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Coppola's</a> dizzying passion project&mdash;Gerwig arrived on the red carpet sporting a black sequined Chanel gown custom-designed for her based on similar pieces from the label's Haute Couture Spring 2024 collection. The gown, featuring a sleek cape and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/camila-morrone-met-gala-2024-chanel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel's</a> emblematic pocket details, acted as a look that infused elements of Gerwig's past style with her evidently new tastes.&nbsp;

For her second red carpet appearance at Cannes, the jury president strode out into the spotlight sporting a cherry red Armani Priv&eacute; gown, looking every bit the part of a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/famous-celebrity-children-young-hollywood" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood</a> star in the French Riviera. The simple, yet timelessly chic frock featured a plunging neckline and crystalline spaghetti straps, but perhaps most striking about the piece was the sharp silhouette, which truly elevated the look as one of Gerwig's best sartorial choices of all time. The director rounded out her French girl chic look with a classic <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/celebrities-who-have-mastered-the-dark-red-lip" target="_blank" rel="noopener">red lip</a> and her signature blonde pixie cut, which she wore artfully tousled to compliment her effortlessly elegant, vintage-inspired look.

On the eve of the opening ceremonies for the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, Gerwig donned a cabernet-colored Saint Laurent gown featuring a deep v-cut and a high-rising slit. Accompanying the look, the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/greta-gerwig-hasnt-read-barbie-reviews-barbenheimer-reaction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Barbie</a>&nbsp;director sported matching slingback heels, diamond drop earrings, and an ultra-chick slicked-back hairstyle.&nbsp;

Gerwig kicked off Cannes in style with this summery Maison Margiela dress. With playful stripes and a bold cinched waist, this look was the first of many that marked the 2024 Cannes Film Festival a fashion event to remember for the director. After all, who expected to see Gerwig in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/tabis-boots-martin-margiela-controversial-appeal-split-toe-hoof-shoes-history" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tabi</a> heels during a jury photocall?

Just after arriving in Cannes, Gerwig sported a pared-back brown Carven dress to the jury dinner ahead of the start of the festival. Accompanying the look, the jury president donned a pair of classic Chanel <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/shield-sunglasses-from-the-60s-to-now" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sunglasses</a>, a pair of sensible white heels, and an understated Chanel handbag to top it all off.&nbsp;
