The creative director is leaving his position after a decade-long run.

American designer <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/jeremy-scott-fashionable-friends-moschino-miley-cyrus-katy-perry" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jeremy Scott</a> is reportedly leaving his role as creative director of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-moschino-spring-summer-2022-nyfw-runway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Moschino</a>. Scott was appointed to the esteemed position in 2013, where he succeeded former creative director Rossella Jardini.&nbsp;
"I am fortunate to have had the opportunity of working with the creative force that is Jeremy Scott," Massimo Ferretti, executive chairman of Moschino's parent company Aeffe, <a href="https://wwd.com/fashion-news/designer-luxury/jeremy-scott-is-exiting-moschino-creative-director-1235588203/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told WWD</a>. "I would like to thank him for 10 years of commitment to Franco Moschino's legacy house and for ushering in a distinct and joyful vision that will forever be a part of Moschino history."
Scott mentioned that he was "so proud of the legacy I am leaving behind" and described his experience "as a wonderful celebration of creativity and imagination."

Underneath <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/jeremy-scott-winnie-harlow-making-the-cut-amazon" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Scott's</a> visionary leadership, Moschino's roots of ironic fashion continued on, though he brought the label to new heights by making Moschino a brand among the stars.&nbsp;
Over his 10-year run, Scott attracted many A-list celebrities to the brand including <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/katy-perry-orlando-bloom-relationship-timeline" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Katy Perry</a>, Bebe Rexha, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/gigi-hadid-zayn-malik-relationship-timeline-dating-baby" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gigi Hadid</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-coach-spring-summer-2023-runway-photos-nyfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lil Nas X</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/taylor-swift-tour-best-fashion-looks-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift,</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/olivia-rodrigo-drivers-license-song-drama-sabrina-carpenter-joshua-bassett" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sabrina Carpenter</a>, among many more. Most recently, Angela Bassett attended the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/academy-awards-2023-oscars-red-carpet-celebrity-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2023 Academy Awards</a> in a dramatic royal purple Moschino gown.&nbsp;

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/jeremy-scott-on-the-power-of-makeup-sci-fi-and-skincare" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Scott's</a> last runway show at the helm of Moschino was this most recent Milan Fashion Week for the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/beauty-trends-fall-winter-2023-runways-makeup" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fall/Winter 2023 season</a>. Like every collection of the past, the presentation was playful yet tasteful. It was a fun take on pop punk with its spiked hair, tweed suits, melted silhouettes, and fishnet leggings.&nbsp;
As for what the future of Moschino will look like, there is still no word on who will be taking over Scott's role.
