L'OFFICIEL speaks with the Italian supermodel about her equally functional and feminine collection for the adventurous brand.&nbsp;

In a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/burberry-fall-winter-2021-riccardo-tisci-runway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">celebration of femininity</a> and the beauty of the female body, supermodel <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/cactus-cartier-rebellious-asset" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mariacarla Boscono</a> and outerwear brand K-Way come together to develop a functional and fabulous winter-wear collection, launching today.
A nod to her previous Spring/Summer 2021 capsule with the brand, this <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/fall-winter-2021-accessory-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cold-weather collaboration</a> allows the modern woman to face the winter months with freedom and sensuality.
"With this collection, you must be covered up, but it is still revealing," <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/cactus-cartier-rebellious-asset" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Boscono</a> tells L'OFFICIEL of her most recent work with K-Way, which marks a balance between <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/history-school-girl-uniform-fashion-clueless-britney-spears-chanel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">unquestionable practicality</a> and beauty. The pieces feature K-Way's knack for technical garments and act as a precursor to the brand's Action line for Fall/Winter 2022, which is dedicated to skiing and other winter sports.&nbsp;

&ldquo;You are beautiful, but comfortable beautiful,&rdquo; Boscono says of her work with K-Way, a brand both her and her daughter have been able to grow up with.
While the focus of the collection is a high-tech, full-body zip-up ski suit, which Boscono refers to as <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/how-to-wear-catsuits-celebrity-trend-fall-jumpsuits" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the &ldquo;catsuit&rdquo;</a>, all pieces within the collection are <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/catsuit-trend-kim-kardashian-balenciaga" target="_blank" rel="noopener">made to accentuate the body</a> while also keeping one warm and protected against the cold.
"I think the main piece of the collection is absolutely amazing I see myself going to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/ami-opens-first-american-flagship-new-york-city" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York</a> in that. You have a coat, but it's even better than your coat," Boscono shares. "I find the piece I did for K-Way has multi-tasks&mdash;it can serve many types of things."

Mindfully created to flatter <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/joseph-altuzzara-new-brand-altu-gender-fluid" target="_blank" rel="noopener">all body shapes and sizes</a>&mdash;whether or not they prefer to participate in serious winter sport&mdash;Boscono's collection refuses to sacrifice style for practicality.
Inspired by the model and mother's appreciation for winter scenery and hiking through snowy mountains, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dsquared2-ski-collection-winter-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">weather-resistant collection</a> allows one to remain comfortable and in-the-moment.
"I feel like it can embrace any age and any type of women's body," Boscono says.
