Kendall Jenner's Suede Birkin Bag in Paris Feels so Olsen Twins

She channeled the model-off-duty look with a tan-hued leather outfit before shutting down the Schiaparelli runway.

Kendall Jenner is set to have a busy spell of days in Paris, running around the City of Lights for Haute Couture Week. Before shutting down the runway at Schiaparelli's show, which kicked off the famed fashion event Monday morning, the model turned heads with what might be one of her best street style looks yet.

Jenner stepped out in Paris wearing a layered leather blazer, which was tan-hued with lighter, sandy-colored double lapels that offered a subtle and stylish contrast. Beneath her outer layer, the model wore a basic white T-shirt and straight-cut black trousers. She kept the menswear-inspired look minimal down to her pointy-toed, black booties and ovular sunglasses. But one accessory in particularly felt like a standout piece in this ensemble: her suede Hermès Birkin bag.

Just like the famous photos of the Olsen twins' circa 2010 with beat-up leather Hermès bags, Jenner walked out in Paris with her Birkin unfastened and with personal items hanging out. As the French luxury label's emblematic item has grown in popularity and investment value in recent years, many have increasingly (and understandably) treated their bags as special, fragile items versus an everyday purse to toss around, stuff with miscellaneous items, and get the occasional scuff. The style, however, was originally intended to be used this way, as a daily bag that could be both stylish and functional. Jenner's way of carrying it seems to echo that original sentiment.

The 818 Tequila founder's personal style often incorporates codes of equestrian wearables while also combining masculine elements into her feminine fashions. Jenner is known to show her appreciation for tailored looks and menswear staples, for example. The self-proclaimed horse girl did exactly that in Paris with her distinctly layered blazer and relaxed ensemble, paired perfectly with her brown suede Hermès Birkin.
