Fancy a Met Gala warm-up? The King's Trust (formerly The Prince's Trust) Gala, an event held in New York City to support King Charles's charity that helps youngsters with educational opportunities and employment, hosted a group of coveted invitees, including Emily Ratajkowski, Joan Smalls, and Lionel Richie. As the guests filed to support the good cause, we couldn't help but notice the stream of immaculately dressed stars and socialites gracing the event. Kate Moss, ubiquitous in England's pop culture and among the new faces to support The King's Trust, entered in what can only be described as an effortlessly chic and languid silk dress tied together with a black sash at the waist. Ratajkowski didn't disappoint with her look either, as she entered the gala in an alluring gold dress with a plunged neckline and her hair swooped to the side, making for an eye-catching black tie event ensemble.&nbsp;
Joan Smalls went with the classic and fool-proof option of a chic black dress for the event. She paired the stunning look with what looked to be mesh gloves and glittering diamond jewelry to complement the LBD moment. Lionel Richie was also seen attending the charity gala with his girlfriend, Lisa Parigi. While Richie opted for a velvet black suit, Parigi wore a white off-the-shoulder gown that featured a gorgeous floral print atop the fabric. Kate Beckinsale was among those to stun in a daring look. The actress wore an off-shoulder asymmetrical silver tule dress that was worn with a bow-clad updo, towering white platforms, and, of course, a statement emerald green clutch.&nbsp;
You may be wondering: What did the King himself wear to his gala? Well, his Majesty was unfortunately unable to attend, which may have to do with his <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/king-charles-diagnosed-with-cancer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ongoing health issues</a> or perhaps the staggering list of other responsibilities he has as king. The King, however, did leave guests with a statement.&nbsp;
&ldquo;Ladies and gentlemen, the trust will continue to help young people around the world build those key skills to support them into employment,&rdquo; read the statement as per <a href="https://apnews.com/article/king-charles-kings-trust-gala-lionel-richie-47c5d4f4ba85ce5945c74fd57788e3c2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AP News</a>. &ldquo;Together, we can build a better future for the next generation.&rdquo;
