Winter is approaching, and with the changing temperatures means, as always, the shifting of trends. But amid the array of new  fashion, beauty, and hair trends, the notable standout from fashion month was the prominence of the olive green color trend.

Whether you immerse yourself in the whirlwind of fashion week updates or prefer to casually observe, one thing was unmistakable: cherry red was the color that dominated the Spring/Summer 2024 runways. You've seen it on celebrities, It girls, and all over your socials. Who could miss the unforgettable cherry red iteration of Gucci’s iconic Jackie bag for Sabato de Sarno’s debut collection

But, as the seasons shift, so too do color trends. So, it’s time to shelf the cherry red. There’s a new It girl color of the season. The olive green trend was a sensation in the Fall/Winter 2024 runways. From French luxury houses to up-and-coming New York-based brands, designers have embraced the stunning earthy tone with fervor, weaving it into their collections with creativity and finesse.

Some shows like Chloé and Hermès incorporated only a handful of olive greens. Still, on the runways of Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo, Gucci, Fendi, Saint Laurent, and Burberry, designers ensured the neutral hue captivated audiences and the show. Whether top-to-bottom or subtle accents, the message was clear: the olive green trend was the undeniable star of the season and will enter your closets soon.
