Although we've been spotting some subtle fringed incorporations in the last couple of seasons, fringes made a true bold statement throughout New York, Milan, and Paris's Spring/Summer 2025 runways, showcasing their versatility and movement. From fully fringed dresses to flowing hems, designers embraced this tactile embellishment, infusing collections with a sense of boho flair and free-spirited energy. With The Attico and Coperni taking on a more classic approach and Diesel and Stella McCartney introducing a more unexpected twist to the trend, fringes proved to be undeniably adaptable. Whether it was used to create dramatic silhouettes or as subtle detailing, fringes have entered this season as the must-have texture for any look.

Eveningwear Meets Casualwear

One of the most intriguing trends of the season, designers showcased the most extravagant evening looks paired with elements of casual wear. The Attico, for example, showed a windbreaker styled with a feather-embellished gown and Burberry styled a winter coat on top of a cocktail dress. Loewe, on the other hand, paired a sequin minidress with a pair of nostalgic high-top sneakers. Though an unlikely pairing, that unexpected clash and surprising juxtaposition is what makes this trend so visually appealing. Exuding an effortless vibe mixed with a careless attitude, we can't wait to see it girls and influencers replicating this styling tecnique. Spring/Summer 2025 proved to be a season of innovation and creativity, and the eveningwear-meets-sportswear trend is only one example of the genius that has ensued thus far.

From Gucci and Prada to Dior and Sportmax, dangling embellishments seem to be a favorite on the runways for Spring/Summer 2025. These small but impactful details have proven to be incredibly chic throughout this season; whether bold and obvious or discreet and quiet, embellishments have had their moment. From beaded strings to hanging crystals, the movement of these dangling embellishments provided a dynamic element to an already striking presentation of Spring/Summer 2025 looks.

Sheer fabrics appeared to be another favorite amongst designers this season. From Sportmax to Prada, the big names seemed to be loving the sheer wistful looks for Spring/Summer 2025. Each designer had their own ideas of sheer throughout their collections. While Loewe and Emporio Armani went for a more discreet take with translucent printed fabrics and textures, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana opted for fully revealing organza for the sunny season. Although sheer fabrics have been an unapologetic staple in runways and red carpets for quite some time, the ressurgence of this daring trend will be hard to miss.

One of the favorite colors of the last seasons, butter yellow hues have once again made their presence known on the runways in so many different silhouettes. Whether it was a monochromatic butter yellow look or subtle hints of the delicate hue, designers embraced this soft, buttery shade to bring a sense of warmth and lightness to their collections. Combining textured fabrics and fringe detailing with the classic butter yellow shade allowed for designers like Balenciaga, Coperni, Toteme, and many more to make a statement on this season's runway. The interplay of this soft color with rich textures created an elevated and dynamic aesthetic, solidifying butter yellow as a standout shade for Spring/Summer 2025.

Business attire is still holding its rightful place in the eye of the fashion industry, and the Spring/Summer 2025 season seems to be making a nod to the traditional pinstripes. The subtle yet classic pinstripe detailing appeared on everything from sharply tailored blazers to wide-legged trousers and structured button-up inspired dresses, offering a fresh take on the corporate aesthetic. Designers played with proportions and fabric choices, adding unexpected elements like oversized lapels and new silhouettes to the traditionally formal look. This season’s pinstripes fused tradition with contemporary flair, proving that business attire can be both polished and fashion-forward.

Designers experimented with various fabrics and techniques, from bedazzled edges to intricate embroidery, adding depth and movement to otherwise sleek silhouettes. The textured hem detailing was seen across collections from Brandon Maxwell adding dramatic flair to the simplest of silhouettes, to Michael Kors adding both bold and subtle textured hems, creating a perfect balance between elegance and playfulness. This charming touch not only adds dimension but also elevates the overall aesthetic, proving that the smallest accents can make the biggest statements.

Whether it’s Sunnei and Tommy Hilfiger’s nautical-inspired tops or Prada and Proenza Schouler’s combination of navy stripes with fringe, designers embraced the classic navy stripe with a modern twist. The trend brought a fresh take on the traditional maritime aesthetic, offering everything from classic sweaters to unique, flowy sets. This season, stripes were more than just a classic touch—they became a bold statement of innovation, with designers experimenting with proportions, layering, and textures to create dynamic and visually striking looks. From Etros and Versace to Saint Laurent and Miu Miu, the Spring/Summer 2025 runway appeared quite groovy. With obvious references to the 1970s fashion, many looks referenced the beloved decade in terms of color, texture, prints, and silhouettes. From flowing maxi dresses in muted florals to bold psychedelic prints, the era’s signature free-spirited appeal was reimagined with a modern twist, blending nostalgia with contemporary flair.

While pragmatism and practicality have been present more than ever in contemporary fashion, a remarkably relaxed silhouette appeared quite often in many shows from Acne Studios to Boss. With a robe-like apparance, these casual cuts featured loose cuts and tie-front belts that exuded comfort and calmness. The pieces not only looked cozy, but they also looked extremely wearable and versatile. The perfect continuation to the sleepwear as daywear trend, we hope this relaxed silhoutte seen in the Spring/Summer 2025 runways influences the upcoming fashion waves. After all, who doesn’t love the idea of staying in their comfiest loungewear all day?

It seems like the runways this season have decided to take part in Charli XCX's Brat summer, and let's just say we are not mad about it. From head-to-toe green looks to subtle hints of the neon hue scattered throughout collections, this vibrant, electric green is making a statement. Designers are embracing the bold, playful energy of the Brat girl, infusing the hue into everything from dresses and shorts to accessories. It's the perfect color for those wanting to keep living their best Brat lives with a high fashion twist.

You might need to do a double-take for these looks that showed on the runway for Spring/Summer 2025. Take a closer look at Moschino's "trench" and you might realize it is actually no trench coat at all, but a dress. Optical illusions and playful prints have always been on the runway in some capacity, but SS25 seemed to have had more of these whimsical styles than usual. From Prada to JW Anderson, optical illusions are always an exiciting way to see creativity and playfulness from designers. When perspective and dimensions are distorted, the vast options of imagination truly become endless.

Some of the best fashion icons in our lives are our grandmothers, and it seems like the runways agree. Grandma blouse-inspired tops, featuring silky fabrics, high necklines, and delicate details, dominated the Spring/Summer 2025 collections. These vintage-inspired pieces blend nostalgia with modern flair, making them the perfect statement for those seeking a refined yet effortlessly chic look.

From New York to Paris, the Spring/Summer 2025 runways have seen an electrifying amount of bright blues. From Prada's peakaboo tights to Ferragamos full blue look, it seems designers are enjoying playing with bold colors and unique hues. A beloved color for many, we will likely see this SS25 trend continued throughout the season, whether it may be a monochromatic look or a pop of turquoise, don't be surprised if blue becomes the next It color in the upcoming months.
