Stella McCartney Presents Capsule Collection Inspired by The Beatles
Stella McCartney x The Beatles: Get Back, the designer's latest capsule collection, is inspired by one of her father's iconic hits.
As the daughter of the famous bassist of The Beatles Paul McCartney, Stella McCartney has launched a collection entitled Stella McCartney x The Beatles: Get Back, inspired by the band's infamous song from their 1970 album Let It Be.
"Get Back is much more than a song or a concert," said McCartney. "It's the timeless story of lifelong friends who come together to create something incredible with joy and courage. The Beatles led a cultural movement directed towards positive change that continues to affect the lives of millions of people around the world. I hope this collection conveys these universal messages to a new generation."
The collection's garments include a vast palette of colors, sweatshirts, bomber jackets, graphics, and inevitable tributes to The Beatles. Additionally, a documentary directed by Peter Jackson, with the eponymous title of this capsule collection, is set to be released later this month on Disney+. Get Back will show original footage from The Beatles' latest recording sessions and their concert at Savile Row in London.
As the Beatles sang in the famous song, "Get back to where you once belonged." Surely Stella belongs to that place, a place that still continues to proudly tell today.
