Tiffany & Co. Partners with Artsy to Launch Tiffany Atrium
In honor of the platform's launch, Tiffany's is collaborating with American visual artist and community-builder Derrick Adams to auction off original artwork.
Tiffany & Co. is partnering with Artsy to launch Tiffany Atrium, a platform dedicated to advancing opportunities for underrepresented communities. Through the platform, the brand hopes to create a more diverse and inclusive jewelry industry.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Tiffany Atrium platform, creating a centralized hub for our continued journey in the worlds of diversity, equity and inclusion,” Anthony Ledru, Chief Executive Officer, Tiffany & Co. said. “At Tiffany & Co., we have a responsibility to enact positive change in our world. Tiffany Atrium will allow us to streamline and scale the necessary processes in doing so.”
The new platform gets its name from the Return to Tiffany heart tag necklace. The iconic motif references the heart as well as the central room of a home that serves as the foundation for its construction.
In honor of the launch, Tiffany’s is collaborating with American visual artist and community-builder Derrick Adams to auction off Adams’ original artwork entitled “I Shine, You Shine, We Shine” on Artsy. The artwork is the inspiration behind the Tiffany Atrium logo and all proceeds will benefit The Last Resort Artist Retreat, an artist residency founded by Adams that aims to provide healing to Black artists and cultural workers.
As a part of Tiffany’s inclusivity mission, the house will be launching an apprenticeship program that focuses on recruiting diverse and historically underrepresented communities. The jewelry brand will also be partnering with the Shawn Carter Foundation, BeyGood, and Harlem's Fashion Row to support fashion and art programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
