Get ready for relaxed, easy, and fun pieces perfect for summer.

Designer collaborations are quickly taking over the fashion industry (if they haven&rsquo;t done so already) and with good reason: We love it when creatives work together. Earlier this season, Y/Project teamed up with Uggs to create the ever-elusive <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/thigh-high-ugg-boots-for-fall-2018" onclick="window.open(this.href, '', 'resizable=no,status=no,location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,fullscreen=no,scrollbars=no,dependent=no'); return false;">thigh-high Ugg boot</a>, and Michael Halpern tapped Christian Louboutin to help him create footwear for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/michael-halpern-was-london-fashion-week-s-brightest-star" target="_blank">Halpern Fall 2018</a>. Just like peanut butter and jelly, collaborating in fashion has proven not only to be a delicious concept, but one that simply works well.&nbsp;

So it&rsquo;s no wonder that UNIQLO&mdash;whose past collaborators include <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/then-ten-most-talked-about-fashion-collabs-of-2017" target="_blank">JW Anderson</a>, Carine Roitfeld, Kim Jones, and Jil Sander&mdash;has&nbsp;just announced a new partnership with German designer Tomas Maier for a collection set to debut Spring 2018. The range is for UNIQLO&#39;s LifeWear, which will include pieces for both men and women. It will infuse the ideas of &ldquo;time off&rdquo; and &ldquo;escape,&rdquo; all that&rsquo;s needed for a chic summer vacay, really.&nbsp;

Maier, whose <a href="https://www.tomasmaier.com/us/" onclick="window.open(this.href, '', 'resizable=no,status=no,location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,fullscreen=no,scrollbars=no,dependent=no'); return false;">eponymous line</a> is known for beautifully synchronizing simplicity and sophistication in his designs, stated in a press release that he hopes the collab will &ldquo;help people to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.&rdquo; Sign us up ASAP, please.&nbsp;

Considering that both comfort and quality are a huge part of the UNIQLO brand identity, teaming up with tomas maier was a natural (and pretty much perfect) choice. While there&rsquo;s isn&rsquo;t an exact release date up as of yet, we&rsquo;ll be here responding to emails and dreaming of summer.&nbsp;
