An evolved version of the Clean Girl, mixed with elements of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/how-to-style-coquette-aesthetic-tiktok-fashion-trend" target="_blank" rel="noopener">coquettecore</a>, the Vanilla Girl is all things creams, cozy, and minimalist. This girl wakes up in her beige-colored room dressed in comfortable knits as she makes herself a cup of sweet cream cold foam and journals her daily manifests.
With over 155 million hashtag views, it's safe to say the Vanilla Girl is dominating TikTok. Perhaps one of the biggest appeals of the aesthetic is that it's one of the easiest to incorporate into day-to-day routines. The Vanilla Girl essentially entails a cream-based color palette, comfortable clothes (preferably knits and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/matching-sets-new-years-eve-nye-outfit-inspiration-shopping" target="_blank" rel="noopener">matching sets</a>), minimalistic <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/facial-toner-tonic-perfect-addition-beauty-routine-skincare-products" target="_blank" rel="noopener">beauty</a> looks, and anything vanilla-scented.

Like most TikTok aesthetics, the Vanilla Girl goes beyond the wardrobe and into a lifestyle. Yes, scroll through the hashtag and you will come across endless "Vanilla Girl Outfit Inspo" videos, but you will also be met with an equal amount of beauty, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/best-winter-skincare-dry-skin-moisturizer-expert-tips" target="_blank" rel="noopener">skincare</a>, and home decor inspiration.&nbsp;
All that said, the popularity of the Vanilla Girl aesthetic has been met with some backlash. Many of these mainstream aesthetics tend to target a very specific market of blonde, thin, white women&mdash;and the Vanilla Girl aesthetic has been no different. It doesn't help that the TikTok algorithm does very little to combat this noticeably targeted promotion. The good news is that users have been quick to point out the disparity, and have worked to implement the Vanilla Girl aesthetic in a more inclusive fashion.

Whether you love this cream-colored aesthetic or prefer to stick to something a little more colorful, the Vanilla Girl is here to stay. Though spring is fastly approaching, the Vanilla Girl aesthetic serves perfectly with the currently ongoing cooler temperatures.
Until a new TikTok aesthetic inevitably arises and takes the throne, we'll be a Vanilla Girl for the time being.&nbsp;
