Zendaya's latest red carpet look pays homage to the web-tastic cinematic production of her latest film Spider-Man: No Way Home.

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/zendaya-roberto-cavalli-dress-2021-ballon-dor-awards" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zendaya</a> has always loved using fashion as a way to give a subtle nod to her new project (see: her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/zendaya-timothee-chalamet-dune-red-carpet-premiere" target="_blank" rel="noopener">spaced-inspired look for the Dune premiere</a>), but her latest gown, worn at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/tom-holland-calls-zendaya-my-mj-instagram-birthday-tribute" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spider-Man: No Way Home</a> premiere, is much more than a nod&mdash;it's a statement.

Rather than opt for any glamourous ensemble, the actress, who stars in the Marvel series as MJ, hit the red carpet in a custom <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-valentino-spring-summer-2022-pfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Valentino</a> dress covered with sequins in the shapes of spiderwebs and a high slit. Many fans online have compared the look to one from <a href="https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/139697" target="_blank" rel="noopener">John Galliano's Spring/Summer 1997 collection</a>. The Euphoria star paired the sultry v-neck look with a black mask fitted with a net covering, black Christian Louboutin pumps, and Bvlgari jewelry.
Behind the mask, however, the star rocked a dramatic eye featuring a trio of black and white <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/60s-makeup-eyeliner-trend-retro" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wings</a> as well as a singular arch in the crease for definition. The rest of her makeup was kept simple with a smooth complexion and a plump peach lip.

While on the carpet, the actress also posed with her co-star (and boyfriend) <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/tom-holland-zendaya-relationship-timeline-spider-man" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tom Holland</a>, who wore a custom chocolate-colored suit from <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/prada-mens-spring-summer-2022-miuccia-prada-raf-simons" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Prada</a>. Both actors were styled by Zendaya's longtime stylist <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/law-roach-hollywood-stylist-zendaya-anya-taylor-joy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Law Roach</a>.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third film installment in Marvel's current adaption of the comic book superhero. However, this movie also honors the former Spider-Man franchises led by Tobey MacGuire and Andrew Garfield by tying the villains from past films into the storyline by way of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's "multiverse" concept.
