In honor of Adele hosting ‘SNL’ for the first time this weekend, look back at the star singer-songwriter’s most memorable firsts.

Last night, Adele announced that she will <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/harry-styles-snl-2019">host</a>&nbsp;Saturday Night Live&nbsp;for the first time on October 24. While it won&rsquo;t be the <a href="https://www.grammy.com/grammys/news/adele-turns-25-record">Grammy-winning</a> &ldquo;Hello&rdquo; singer&rsquo;s first time appearing on&nbsp;SNL&ndash;that honor goes to her 2008 performance as a musical guest on the sketch comedy show&ndash;it will be her first time hosting a television show&ndash;ever. &ldquo;Bloooooody hellllll I&rsquo;m so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified!&rdquo; the star said in an Instagram <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CGfpHYogAPE/">post</a> sharing her new gig.&nbsp;

Ever since launching to fame and critical success, Adele has made headlines for her record-breaking talent. Her&nbsp;SNL&nbsp;hosting debut only adds to a number of milestones in the British talent&rsquo;s career&ndash;in honor, L&rsquo;OFFICIEL rounds up her most memorable firsts.

Adele was the first woman to have three simultaneous Top 10 singles on the Billboard Top 100 with "Rolling in the Deep," "Someone Like You," and "Set Fire to the Rain.”

Adele’s second album, ’21,’ held the first spot in the charts longer than any album since 1985.

“Hello” became the first song to sell over one million digital copies in its first week in the U.S.

Adele's third album, ’25,’ became the top-selling album of 2015, and broke first week sale records in both the UK and the U.S. 

 She is the first female artist to have won all four general field Grammys: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.

Adele is the first female artist to have two albums in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 and two singles in the top of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. 

 The artist lended her talents to the first James Bond theme song to ever win an Academy Award with "Skyfall" in 2013. 

She is the first and only artist in history to win three general category Grammys in the same ceremony–twice!
