<p>After the box offices successes that were <em>It Ends With Us, Reminders of Him, </em>and <em>Regretting You</em>, Amazon MGM has given Colleen Hoover another movie deal, this time for one of her most popular books: <em>Verity. </em>As opposed to Hoover's previous adaptations, <em>Verity </em>takes a step into the supernatural, and fans are eager to see what direction the film will take given its star-studded cast.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With a script by Nick Antosca and direction by Michael Showalter, <em>Verity </em>follows struggling novelist Lowen Ashleigh, who gets hired to finish the latest book from bestselling author Verity Crawford after an accident renders her unable to complete it. As Lowen strives to complete the project, she discovers a disturbing unfinished manuscript that raises serious questions about Verity's mental health.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The recently released teaser reveals some interesting details as well. Lowen is seen slinking around Verity's house in a silk robe seductively as she straddles Verity's husband. The two kiss until suddenly Verity's husband becomes Verity. Verity grabs Lowen by the face and kisses her forcefully, biting her lip and breaking the skin. The teaser also features shots contrasting Verity pre- and post-her accident, with "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" by Kylie Minogue playing in the background. Needless to say, fans were on the edge of their seats when this teaser came out, and are eager to see how these spooky events will unfold on the big screen.&nbsp;</p>
