Everything to Know About Camila Cabello's 'Cinderella'
Camila Cabello has been chosen to play one of the most iconic characters in cinema history.
Fairy tale fans will be happy with the news: Cinderella is getting a new adaptation that will debut on Amazon Prime. Starring in the lead role is Camila Cabello. The 23-year-old singer was famous for being a member of Fifth Harmony but now pursues a successful solo career.
The new adaptation will be a little different from the classic that we are used to, which takes place between the 17th and 18th centuries. The film will feature a more contemporary musical touch with a diverse and star-studded cast.
In addition, the costume designer is none other than Ellen Mirojnick. You may not know her name, but you certainly know her work well. Among her most notable projects are Bridgerton and the films The Greatest Showman (2017), The Girl in a Spider's Web (2018), and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019).
Directed by Kay Cannot, the film also features Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, Nicholas Galitzine, Pierce Brosnan, and Billy Porter as Cinderella's stepmother Vivian, Queen Beatrice, Prince Robert, King Rowan, and Cinderella's fairy godmother Fab G, respectively. The movie is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 3rd.
