It's been over two years since the announcement of Austin Butler's casting as rock & roll legend Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann's biographical film Elvis. After numerous delays and pushbacks of the project due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Luhrmann has finally released a glimpse of what's to come.

The 59-year-old director shared a teaser clip of the film on his social media. "Elvis Monday⚡️," Luhrmann captioned. "Made a little something to let you good people know we are taking care of business on June 24, 2022."

The snippet features two slow-motion clips of Butler as a young Elvis walking backstage in his iconic leather jacket and white suit. The clip fades and features the letters "TCB" as well as the film's release date.

TCB stands for "taking care of business," which was the singer's motto, as well as what he named his band in 1969. It appears that Luhrmann is alluding to the film centering around 1969, as that was also the year that Elvis resumed touring again. The director made references to "TCB" in his social media captions, and the preview is set to an altered version of Elvis' 1969 song, "Suspicious Minds."

Elvis also stars Tom Hanks as Elvis' manager Colonel Tom Parker and Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley. The film will "delve into their complex dynamic spanning over 20 years, from Presley's rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and the loss of innocence in America," according to Warner Bros.
