It&#39;s been almost half a century since the infamous &quot;Manson Family&quot;&nbsp;murders first terrorized Los Angeles in 1969, but despite such a large time gap, the tragedy is far from being forgotten.&nbsp;

Earlier this year, reports surfaced that Quentin Tarantino will be adapting the gruesome story for the big&nbsp;screen (<a href="http://variety.com/2018/film/news/leonardo-dicaprio-charles-manson-movie-quentin-tarantino-1202663081/">starring Leonardo DiCaprio</a>, no less), while Ryan Murphy recreated the murder of Sharon Tate and her unborn child&nbsp;in an episode for American Horror Story: Cult (casting Evan Peters as Charles Manson). But while both of these onscreen adaptions seem to focus on the man behind the murders, an upcoming movie from Skyline Entertainment is opting to take a closer look at the victim (more closely her point of view).&nbsp;

<a href="http://deadline.com/2018/02/hilary-duff-sharon-tate-manson-murders-haunting-of-sharon-tate-1202279215/">Deadline</a>&nbsp;reports that Hilary Duff will be playing the role&nbsp;of Sharon Tate in the upcoming horror flick&nbsp;The Haunting of Sharon Tate, written and directed by Daniel Farrands. The film&#39;s plot is said to have been inspired by a quote from Tate where&nbsp;she is said to have revealed having dreams about ghosts haunting her house and foreseeing her own death at the hands of a satanic cult. Scary.&nbsp;It&#39;s&nbsp;the type of role we&#39;ve never seen Duff take on before, but if <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Be3XpZEH8CG/?taken-by=hilaryduff">this picture</a> indicates anything, it&#39;s that&nbsp;she certainly can look&nbsp;the part.&nbsp;
