Lady Gaga finishes filming the upcoming Ridley Scott-directed movie 'House of Gucci' and bids adieu to Italy with a heart-warming gesture.

The Ridley Scott film <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/lady-gaga-adam-driver-house-of-gucci-movie-instagram" target="_blank" rel="noopener">House </a><a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/lady-gaga-adam-driver-house-of-gucci-movie-instagram" target="_blank" rel="noopener">of Gucci</a>&nbsp;just finished filming in Italy. The movie, adapted from the book&nbsp;The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, centers on the life and murder of Maurizio Gucci, who was killed in Milan on March 27, 1995 by a hitman. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/lady-gaga-house-of-gucci-controversy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lady Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani</a>, Maurizio Gucci's wife and instigator of the murder.&nbsp;
Now that filming in Rome is done, Lady Gaga heads back to the states. Saying goodbye, the star greeted Italy and her fans with a special gift. While leaving her hotel, Gaga placed a vase of yellow tulips on Rome's cobblestones before leaving the city. Gaga has personal ties to Italy and its Sicilian origins. Her great-grandfather, Antonino Germanotta, was originally from Naso, Sicily.\

Filming for the movie began in late February. Among the locations chosen for&nbsp;House of Gucci are&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/food/quali-sono-i-piatti-tipici-italiani-storia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Valle d'Aosta</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/news/bulgari-negozio-milano-mostra-foto-paolo-di-paolo-fondazione-sozzani" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Milan</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/viaggi/como-lago-cosa-fare-vedere-posti-belli" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lake Como,</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/arte/damien-hirst-mostra-galleria-borghese-roma-opere-foto" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rome</a>. Paying homage to the country, Gaga posted a heartfelt <a href="https://twitter.com/ladygaga" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweet</a> as she departed, which read:&nbsp;
