With summer just around the corner, streaming platforms are pumping out the perfect storm of coming-of-age stories, sequels, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/netflix-halston-fashion-collection-tv-show-clothes-brand-price" target="_blank" rel="noopener">original films</a> bound to keep your living room sofa an equally appealing alternative to the great outdoors. In addition to the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/lily-collins-filming-emily-in-paris-season-2-netflix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">binge-worthy new content </a>coming to our screens this month, classics such as The Big Lebowski, Million Dollar Baby, and Bad Teacher will be arriving on Netflix, and HBO Max will have all eight <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/pop-culture/harry-potter-tv-series-is-on-the-way-emma-watson-rupert-grint-hbo-ron-weasly-hermione-granger" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harry Potter films</a> available for streaming.&nbsp;

Based on the beloved DC/Vertigo comic by Jeffrey Lemire, Sweet Tooth is a series set in a post-apocalyptic world in which much of humanity has been wiped out by a deadly virus that has also given rise to animal-human hybrids, who are hunted and despised by the rest of mankind. Executive produced by Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan Downey, the show follows a young boy named Gus, who is half-human and half-deer, as he attempts to find refuge in a world that is at odds with his existence. Tune in to follow Gus&rsquo; perilous journey to safety on Friday, June 4 on Netflix.

"Sweet Tooth"

The Kims are back and better than ever, with Season 5 of the CBC feel-good sitcom coming to Netflix on June 2. The Korean-Canadian family&rsquo;s story picks up right where it left off last season, with the Kims leaning on each other as they navigate relationship troubles, newfound health ailments, and life stresses together&mdash;but not without some of the show&rsquo;s perfectly-interjected cheeky back-and-forth. Watch the Kims balance keeping up with big city life while maintaining their immigrant family values as they run their namesake neighborhood shop, Kim&rsquo;s Convenience, in downtown Toronto.&nbsp;

"Kim's Convenience" Season 5

The wait is over&mdash;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/unexpected-connection-between-manga-anime-high-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fans of anime</a> and &lsquo;90s babies alike can rejoice in Netflix&rsquo;s upcoming double feature film, a highly-anticipated continuation of the esteemed Sailor Moon franchise. The sequel to the Sailor Moon Crystal reboot which aired from 2014 to 2015, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie reunites the Sailor Guardians as they join forces to fight a mysterious evil that shrouds Earth in darkness. The battle will require courage, resilience, and of course, plenty of Princess Sailor Moon&rsquo;s signature staggering sword attacks. The film will premiere June 3 on Netflix&mdash;in the meantime, one can stream all five seasons of the original &lsquo;90s Sailor Moon series on Hulu.

 "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie"

An unexpected release that will bridge the gap between Season 3 and the shortly-arriving Season 4 of the Spanish drama, Elite: Short Stories is a four-episode miniseries that will air on Netflix on June 14. In the wake of Season 3&rsquo;s suspenseful ending, Short Stories will offer viewers much-needed clarity on the storylines of certain characters, many of whom will not be returning for Season 4. Get some closure regarding the fate of Nadia and Guzman&rsquo;s relationship, Carla&rsquo;s study abroad experience, and Omar and Ander&rsquo;s ever-shifting bond, just in time for the upcoming release of Season 4, which will air on Netflix four days later on June 18 .&nbsp;&nbsp;

"Elite: Short Stories"

Based on an inspiring true story, Netflix&rsquo;s upcoming dramedy, Fatherhood, tells the tale of a father (played by Kevin Hart), who finds himself tasked with raising his daughter on his own after the unexpected passing of his wife after childbirth. Catch the premiere on June 18 to laugh and cry simultaneously as the heartwarming story of unconditional father-daughter love and support unfolds.

"Fatherhood"

Following a string of unsuccessful attempts at conceiving naturally, hopeful couple Lucy and Adrian (played by Ilana Glazer and Justin Theroux) are thrilled to have nabbed esteemed fertility doctor, Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan) to help them get pregnant. As the horror-thriller unfurls, however, it becomes clear Dr. Hindle is hiding some sinister secrets, and Lucy, Adrian, and their unborn baby&rsquo;s livelihoods may be at stake. Following their work together on Broad City, watch Ilana Glazer and John Lee&rsquo;s film co-writing debut in the Hulu original, which debuts June 18.

"False Positive"

In the second installment of the popular meditation app Headspace&rsquo;s Netflix show, Unwind Your Mind is an interactive experience that will help viewers to reset and relax as they enter the warmer months. Earlier this year, the series premiered with the release of Headspace Guide to Meditation, which introduced the practice of meditation to viewers and emphasized the importance of being present in our daily lives.Those looking to increase their understanding of mindfulness and improve their practice should tune in on June 15, when the second part of the three-part series will launch.

"Unwind Your Mind"

Netflix&rsquo;s new coming-of-age story follows an Indian girl named Prerna (played by Rachel Saanchita Gupta) living in rural India who discovers a passion for skateboarding when a chance encounter with a visiting London executive results in skateboards being bestowed upon the kids of her village. Soon enough, the children become enthralled by the sport, and for Prerna, it becomes more than a hobby but rather a way of life. Follow along on June 11 as Prerna defies odds and bests societal expectations, all while finding her joie de vivre.

"Skater Girl"

In a world where a sudden global power outage somehow causes humankind to lose the ability to sleep, this sci-fi thriller follows a collapsing society as its members attempt to cope with their rapidly-deteriorating condition and figure out a return to normalcy. Featuring Jane the Virgin&rsquo;s Gina Rodriguez and directed by Mark Raso, the Netflix original film will be available for streaming on Wednesday, June 9.

"Awake"

Too Hot to Handle returns to Netflix on June 23 to see how successful a new round of eligible singles will be at obstaining from sexual activities while on a romantic getaway. The motivation, of course, is a $100,000 grand prize that gets money taken away each time contestants break the island's rules. As the men and women pair up, it inevitably becomes a challenge to go without so much as a kiss.&nbsp;
