In one of his earliest roles, Hoult stars as Marcus Brewer, a young boy who has problems fitting in at school. 'About A Boy' (2002)

In one of the most popular coming-of-age series, Hoult plays Tony Stonem, a cocky, mischievous teenager. Set in Bristol, England, the show follows the lives of a close group of friends who does everything together and oftentimes gets into trouble. Although it's a light-hearted and comedic show, it includes serious topics such as sexuality, substance abuse, mental disorders, and teen pregnancy. &nbsp;

'Skins' (2007-2008)

Based on the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/dakota-johnson-confirms-madame-web-spider-man-marvel-movie" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marvel</a> Comics characters, X-Men: First Class tells the story of mutants who try to save the human race in the midst of the Cold War in the 1960s. Hoult's character, Beast, is an ape-like mutant who has great strength and intelligence. He joins the others to help save what is left of the world.&nbsp;

'X-Men: First Class' (2011)

In this book-to-movie adaptation, Hoult stars as R, a zombie who isn't like the others. A plague hits the planet which divides the population between zombies and humans. He meets a beautiful woman (Teresa Palmer) who he saves from his fellow zombies, and they begin an intense romance. As their connection deepens, R finds himself feeling more human than ever.&nbsp;

'Warm Bodies' (2013)

The post-apocalyptic franchise continued with a new twist. Taking place in a corrupt and destroyed Australia, a team of apocalypse survivors form an alliance in search of revenge. 'Mad Max: Fury Road' (2015)

Set in a utopian society known as the Collective, Nia (<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-chanel-spring-summer-2023-runway-photos-pfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kristen Stewart</a>) and Silas (Hoult) begin a forbidden romance. The Collective has been successful in eliminating all crime by mutating humans to not feel any emotions, but Nia and Silas risk their lives in order for their relationship to blossom.&nbsp;

'Equals' (2015)

Sand Castle&nbsp;follows the story of a young soldier (Hoult) who is sent to fight in Iraq in 2003. Based on true events, the soldier experiences the real consequences of war as he tries to protect other lives as well as his own.&nbsp;

'Sand Castle' (2016)

This action thriller tells the story of Casey Stein (Hoult), a backpacker who wrongfully gets involved with a drug ring. He hijacks a cocaine shipment for his boss in exchange for financial compensation for his girlfriend's (Felicity Jones) life-saving surgery. Without knowing, Casey gets in trouble with one of Germany's most powerful drug lords who kidnaps Casey's girlfriend to get revenge. In order to save the love of his life, Casey must find a way to put everything to rest.&nbsp;

'Collide' (2016)

Although Hoult would be perfect for period drama roles, he hasn't starred in too many. In&nbsp;The Favourite, however, he takes on the comedic role of Harley, a manipulative member of English court who knows exactly what to do to get what he wants.
