Since the release of her Amazon Prime series <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/daisy-jones-and-the-six-70s-style-fashion-outfits-to-buy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daisy Jones &amp; The Six in 2023</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/daisy-jones-and-the-six-premiere-red-carpet-looks-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Riley Keough</a> has taken the internet by storm.&nbsp;At 20, she made her acting debut as Marie Curie in the musical drama&nbsp;The Runaways, alongside&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/kristen-stewart-style-evolution-fashion-twilight-princess-diana-spencer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kristen Stewart</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dakota-fanning-young-actress-style-evolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dakota Fanning</a>, but she is also known for her later roles in&nbsp;The Girlfriend Experience, Mad Max: Fury Road, and&nbsp;@Zola.

Elvis Presley is her grandfather.

The late <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/lisa-marie-presley-dead" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lisa Marie Presley</a>, Keough's mother, was the only child of the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/rita-moreno-dated-elvis-presley-for-revenge-marlon-brando" target="_blank" rel="noopener">King of Rock 'n' Roll</a> and his wife <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/priscilla-presley-young-elvis-wife" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Priscilla Presley</a>, making Elvis Keough's grandfather. Although Keough never met him, she has a lot of love and respect for the musician. In an interview with Variety, she shared that it was an "emotional experience" to watch <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/austin-butler-iconic-roles-zoey-101-icarly-elvis-dune-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Austin Butler</a> play her grandfather in the new film based on Elvis's life.

Riley isn't her first name.

To the public, she is known as Riley Keough, but her birth name is actually Danielle Riley Keough. Her father's name is Danny, so we suspect she may be named after him.&nbsp;

She dropped out of high school to become a model.

More recently, Keough is known for being a movie star, but that wasn't always the case. The pair got engaged in March 2012 but soon split in 2013. Years later, Pettyfer said on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZYD3tcbBbA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Radio Andy</a> that Keough was the first woman in his life that he fell in love with at first sight.

Dakota Johnson was her bridesmaid.&nbsp;

Keough and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dakota-johnson-best-style-moments-gucci" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dakota Johnson</a> have been close friends since they were teenagers, so when it was revealed that Johnson had a significant part in Keough's wedding, it was no surprise. Keough and longtime friend Gina Gammell share custody of their business baby, Felix Culpa. The production company gained recognition with the drama&nbsp;War Pony, which premiered at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/red-carpet-look-star-cannes-festival-2022" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2022 Cannes Film Festival</a>. There are various other projects in the works as well.&nbsp;

She wasn't a singer before Daisy Jones &amp; The Six.

Although she comes from a strong lineage of singers, Keough has never performed or pursued singing as a career. She recently admitted in a press event that she lied in order to get the part as Daisy Jones, but, to no surprise, she was born to be a star. She's a mother.
