'Sex and the City' Reboot Finally Gets Teaser Trailer and Premiere Date
Sarah Jessica Parker gives fans a first look at the upcoming Sex and the City reboot titled And Just Like That.
Good news fashion lovers—we finally have a premiere date for the long-awaited revival of Sex and the City. The series, which now goes by the title of And Just Like That, will officially return this December on HBO Max.
The news is more than expected by fans and fashionistas from the four corners of the globe. Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, who played Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York, are part of the cast as well as Sarah Jessica Parker who returns as the star and protagonist Carrie Bradshaw. The script will follow the group of friends sailing through their 50s as they deal with love, parenthood, and life in the Big Apple.
The original male cast is also set to return: Chris Noth (as Mr. Big), David Eigenberg (as Steve Brady), Mario Cantone (as Anthony Marentino), and Evan Handler (as Harry Goldenblatt). Willie Garson, who played the beloved Stanford Blatch, unfortunately, died last September and it remains to be seen whether his role will be retained.
There is no denying that her costumes are one of the most memorable and emblematic in the history of television. Parker's looks as Carrie marked the 2000s and are still a source of references to this day.
Unfortunately, as already mentioned, the person responsible for preparing the clothes will no longer be Patricia Field, and who takes over the fashion part is her colleague Molly Rogers. Among other names who have also confirmed that they will not return are Kim Cattrall (as Samantha Jones) and Jason Lewis (as Jerry Smith Jerrod).
