Sydney Sweeney Talks Family Reaction to Her Nude Scenes in 'Euphoria'
The actress shares her grandparents' unexpected reaction to nude scenes in Euphoria.
Talk about an awkward moment: in a recent interview, Sydney Sweeney revealed she invited her grandparents to Euphoria's Season 2 premiere. Unfortunately, the actress forgot a small detail: her nude scenes.
"I invited my entire family. I didn't really think about [the nudity]," Sweeney recalled on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, mentioning that in addition to her parents, she also invited her uncles and grandparents. “I was like, ‘It’s a Hollywood premiere! You’ve got to come!’ We were all sitting next to each other and giant screen — ginormous screen."
She continued, "I was on the floor...I wasn't thinking."
Concerned about her grandparents' reaction, the actress was shocked by her grandmother's hilarious comment. "She just told me I have the best breasts in all of Hollywood."
In another interview, Sweeney commented that she asked series creator Sam Levinson to modify some scenes in which she did not think nudity was needed. "Sam is amazing. I told him I didn't think some scenes were necessary and he said, 'Okay, we don't need to do it.'"
