The Emmy-Winning Series 'The Bear' Will Debut A New Season Soon
The series launched a new trailer along with plans to marathon the show on cable via FX.
The trailer for the highly anticipated third season of The Bear just dropped and with the June release date looming, fans are undoubtedly growing curious about what Carmy and his team for The Bear are up to.
The trailer recaps what viewers know so far, Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto, who entered the first season to manage the run-down "The Original Beef of Chicagoland" restaurant in River North, which was previously run by his late brother, sees more for the establishment. Despite pushback from the restaurant's staff, he successfully convinces them to modernize the food joint into a hip restaurant called "The Bear," hence the name of the show. The second season explored the process of transforming the restaurant and putting together Carmy's vision for The Bear. This season will explore how this fine-dining restaurant will function on the day-to-day inside and outside the kitchen. The trailer teases the tension between Carmy and his staff as he sets some ground rules on how The Bear should operate, or as Carmy puts it, his "non-negotiable." The season will also explore Carmy's love interest, Claire. While Claire and Carmy ended the last season on rocky terms, the season suggests that the pair may turn a corner.
"We all did a lot of preparation before the first season. I went to culinary school and I spent a lot of time in restaurants," Jeremy Allen White, who plays Carmy, revealed. "And then, for the second season, so much of it was about putting the restaurant together, so there wasn’t that much cooking. But now, in the third season, I think we’re going to go back to that functioning kitchen atmosphere that we had in the first."
As per Variety, Hulu will release the entire season on the release date as opposed to a week-by-week episode release.
