Adele's close friend recently revealed that fans may get to hear's the singer's new album in just a matter of weeks.

It&#39;s been over five years since Adele released new music, but according to the singer&#39;s friend, Alan Carr, her new&nbsp;album is on its way. In an interview with <a href="https://youtu.be/NcrBZAAlLs0" target="_blank">Grazia UK</a>, the comedian opened up about his friend&#39;s next record, which he claims to have already heard. When asked who of&nbsp;Adele, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/cardi-b-bartier-cardi-video" target="_blank">Cardi B</a>, and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop%20culture/rihanna-fenty-decade-music-fashion" target="_blank">Rihanna</a> would be releasing an album in February, Carr responded, &quot;It&#39;s Adele, isn&#39;t it? I&#39;ve actually heard some tracks on it. Oh my God, it&#39;s amazing&mdash;so amazing.&quot;

While this is big news for many fans, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/best-drag-queen-fashion-of-all-time-rupauls-drag-race" target="_blank">RuPaul&#39;s Drag Race</a> host warned that his word is not law and the drop date could change. &quot;They change all the time.&quot;

Carr continued, &quot;I said to her, &lsquo;That voice is like an old friend,&rsquo; because there are some people in the charts who sound a bit like Adele and then when you hear Adele&rsquo;s voice, you go, &lsquo;Oh no, there&rsquo;s only one.&#39;&#39;&quot;&nbsp;

In October 2020, the singer <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/adele-saturday-night-live-host-singer-first-music-charts" target="_blank">hosted</a> <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/megan-thee-stallion-saturday-night-live-performance" target="_blank">Saturday Night Live</a> alongside musical guest H.E.R. While many hoped that the TV appearance&nbsp;was a jumping-off point to announce her next album (which is assumed to be title 32), there&#39;s been no word from Adele or her team.

Her last album,&nbsp;25, won six Grammys in 2017, including one&nbsp;for Album of the Year,&nbsp;beating out <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop%20culture/beyonce-rare-interview-family-social-isolation" target="_blank">Beyonc&eacute;</a>&#39;s Lemonade, a victory&nbsp;that many, including Adele, found controversial. When accepting the award, Adele gave a teary-eyed <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/grammys-2017-adele-full-speech-beyonce-lemonade-dedicated-a7576966.html" target="_blank">speech</a> about how much the &quot;Formation&quot; singer meant to her as a role model, calling her the &quot;artist of my life.&quot;
