CiCi&nbsp;marks the star's first studio album in six years.

With&nbsp;CiCi, the Grammy Award-winning artist has done it yet again. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/laquan-smith-met-gala-2025-ciara-halle-berry-dresses-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ciara</a> dropped her eighth album on Aug. 22, 2025, and to say fans were excited would be the understatement of the century. Released through her own label, Beauty Marks, Ciara's new album is all about celebrating her journey as an artist and giving thanks to her fiercely loyal fanbase&mdash;even the record's title,&nbsp;CiCi, is a nod to the nickname listeners have given her over the years.&nbsp;
Earlier this year, for her<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/ciara-new-album-cici-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> May 2025 cover story</a>, the artist told&nbsp;L'OFFICIEL&nbsp;that there's nothing more important than finding and holding onto happiness. "I wake up with joy because I have a heart of gratitude&mdash;I like laughing; I like having fun. That&rsquo;s just who I am, and because of that, I&rsquo;m always seeking it out," she said.&nbsp;
CiCi embraces Ciara's range as an artist, and showcases her vivid spirit through slow songs, sensual tunes, and of course, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/ciara-best-songs-for-choreography" target="_blank" rel="noopener">beats that are made to dance to</a>. On the album, she collaborated with fellow industry powerhouses like Tyga and Latto to create songs that are made to inspire energy, whether you're on your first listen or your hundredth.&nbsp;

After well over two decades in the industry, she keeps herself grounded by remembering her roots in R&amp;B and looking towards the people who have supported her through every era and venture&mdash;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/ciara-style-low-rise-jeans-outfits-2000s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">style icon</a>, dancer, and singer included.&nbsp;
"It&rsquo;s important to me to connect with my fans as best as I can, because that relationship is essentially everlasting. It&rsquo;s so amazing when you hear people talking about how a song made them feel a kind of way&mdash;that is so powerful to me, when I know my songs can inspire someone and impact&mdash;or be the soundtrack to&mdash;their life," Ciara said in the same interview. "Music marks time, so I feel grateful that I&rsquo;m about to do it. I ultimately want to make the world dance and have the time of their life, but I hope to inspire, to impact someone that&rsquo;s looking for something by listening to my music."
Ciara has hinted at a tour in the works, but avid listeners looking to jam out to&nbsp;CiCi&nbsp;live will have to stay on their toes for an announcement.
