Long a supporter of Joe Biden, Lady Gaga donned a gold-encrusted dove pin on her red and black ballroom custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown to sing the national anthem at Biden's Presidential Inauguration ceremony. 

While many have had the honor (and for some, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMA2iF6RuXk&amp;list=LLPLITtSVCYSCwY-5Bf9jrqQ&amp;index=344">embarrassment</a>) of singing the US national anthem, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/lady-gaga-jennifer-lopez-headline-joe-biden-presidential-inauguration">Lady Gaga&#39;</a>s special performance of the song at today&#39;s <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/joe-biden-kamala-harris-families-inauguration-day-fashion">Presidential Inauguration</a> for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/joe-biden-ralph-lauren-inauguration-day-style">Joe Biden</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/shirley-chisholm-kamala-harris-us-election-history">Kamala Harris </a>had a special meaning.

The star, who has <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CHIzSOvDhOu/">long been a supporter of Biden,</a> appeared in a ladylike Haute Couture ensemble custom designed by Daniel Roseberry for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/schiaparelli-fashion-regina-king-dress-emmys-charity">Schiaparelli</a>.

Gaga&#39;s fitted navy jacket topped a flowy washed red silk faille, making the singer look more like a political ambassador than a pop star. On her chest the musician donned a gilded dove brooch, no doubt a message of peace and unity to a country torn by political division. Like <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/joe-biden-kamala-harris-families-inauguration-day-fashion">Biden and Harris&#39; outfits,</a> symbology was clearly intentional.&nbsp;
