In honor of International Women's Day, fine jewelry brand Pomellato has released an awareness campaign starring Bullet Train actress Joey King and other trailblazers for women's equality. With a focus on freedom, these women discuss what that value means to them and how they have surpassed many of the difficulties frequently faced by women.

The video is a part of PomellatoForWomen, an initiative begun in 2017 by the House's CEO Sabina Belli. The platform begins a dialogue about womanhood, hoping to ignite change. Since its inception, PomellatoForWomen has released six videos that target the yearning for progress and the need for inclusivity

Throughout these annual videos, Hollywood's favorite feminist actress Jane Fonda prioritizes speaking up for women's equality. This year's campaign focuses on the concept of freedom, and Fonda reminds us that, "We tend to take freedom for granted.”

In her discussion on freedom, King recalls that so many women have trailblazed before her, yet she is still doing her best to stand up for herself: “I feel very lucky that so many women in my industry have paved the way before me.”

Alongside King, Paola Egonu, an Italian volleyball player and activist for LGBTQ+ rights, describes, “I’ve learned how strong women can be when we are together,” emphasizing the importance of community and sisterhood. Iranian professional climber Nasim Eshqi, who is an imperative women's rights activist, says that it was a fight to be who she wanted.

In addition to the video, the house backs up its statements with the announcement of a charity campaign that will benefit survivors of domestic violence through FreeForm, an LA-based organization building pathways to help women escape the financial insecurity that often leads them to withstand partner violence.
