The model reveals how she's always felt like the "uglier sister."

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/bella-hadid-talks-alcoholism-anxiety-depression-mental-health-sober-6-months" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bella Hadid</a> is one of the biggest models in the fashion industry. She's graced everything from the biggest runway shows around the world to campaigns in the most high-profile magazines. However, despite her success, the model still has insecurities.
In her new cover story with <a href="https://www.vogue.com/article/bella-hadid-cover-april-2022" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vogue</a>, Hadid opened&nbsp;up about how the comparisons between her and her supermodel sister, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/bella-gigi-hadid-model-versace-spring-summer-2022-campaign-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gigi</a>, have negatively impacted her life. "I was the uglier sister. I was the brunette. I wasn&rsquo;t as cool as Gigi, not as outgoing,&rdquo; she recalled. &ldquo;That&rsquo;s really what people said about me. And unfortunately, when you get told things so many times, you do just believe it," said Hadid. To this day, Hadid said that she still gets receives comments that her success only came because she "hitchhiked" on her sister's career.

Hadid also opened up about her insecurities around her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/bella-hadid-explains-return-to-victorias-secrets-after-controversy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">modeling</a> career. "I always ask myself, how did a girl with incredible insecurities, anxiety, depression, body image issues, eating issues, who hates to be touched, who has intense social anxiety&mdash;what was I doing getting into this business? But over the years I became a good actress. I put on a very smiley face, or a very strong face. I always felt like I had something to prove," she said.&nbsp;

In addition to her insecurities, Hadid opens up about having a rhinoplasty at age 14, something she has denied in the past. She admits regretting having the surgery saying, "I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors. I think I would have grown into it."
All of these negative aspects of her life have come together to create a sense of impostor syndrome in Hadid's life. "I&rsquo;ve had this impostor syndrome where people made me feel like I didn&rsquo;t deserve any of this. People always have something to say, but what I have to say is, I&rsquo;ve always been misunderstood in my industry and by the people around me," she said.&nbsp;
