Fortunately, the singer assured her fans on Twitter that her Instagram sabbatical is only a temporary condition. Many were worried that her social media absence had to do with her conservatorship and pushback from her guardians on her engagement. Earlier this year, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/britney-spears-conservatorship-hearing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spears spoke openly in a court hearing</a> about the conditions of her conservatorship, revealing that she has been forced to receive birth control and that she wasn't allowed to drive in the car with her boyfriend. Since her bombshell statement, the "Toxic" singer has made great strides in dissolving her father <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/britney-spears-father-jamie-agrees-to-step-down-from-conservatorship" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jamie Spears</a>' involvement with her conservatorship.
After Britney deleted her account, <a href="https://pagesix.com/2021/09/14/britney-spears-deletes-instagram-amid-conservatorship-battle/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Page Six</a> spoke to a source about the subject. &ldquo;She&rsquo;s happy and in a great place,&rdquo; said the source before adding, &ldquo;and silence can be a powerful thing and a powerful message.&rdquo;
Britney's lawyer <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/britney-spears-retains-new-lawyer-in-conservatorship-case" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mathew Rosengart</a> confirmed to the publication that the break was entirely her choice.
