More and more celebrities are choosing to grow their families through surrogates these days. Last year, news broke that Khloé Kardashian welcomed her second child, a son, via surrogacy, while in January 2023, Paris Hilton revealed that she too is now the mother of a baby boy carried by a surrogate.

But Kardashian and Hilton aren't the first celebrities to go the surrogacy route. In fact, Khloé's big sister Kim Kardashian took the same route just a few years ago with her two youngest children, Chicago and Psalm. Other celebrities, including athletes, actresses, and singers have also welcomed children this way. Take a look down below at nine couples who have grown their families via surrogates.

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum

Socialite Paris Hilton shocked the internet as she surprisingly revealed that she and her husband welcomed a son into their family via surrogacy. On January 24, 2023, the heiress posted the news on Instagram with the caption, "You are already loved beyond words."

Kim Kardashian has been incredibly open about her surrogacy journey. Viewers even got to see clips of her family's journey play out on E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The reality star carried her first two children, North and Saint, herself, and later welcomed her second two children, Chicago and Psalm, via surrogate in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas

The musician and actress welcomed their first child via surrogate in January of 2022. The two announced the birth with matching Instagram posts that read, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for your privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

On July 13, 2022, multiple outlets reported that Kardashian and Thompson were expecting their second child together via surrogate. The following month, Kardashian revealed that the couple are now parents to a baby boy.
