After graduating from California Polytechnic State University in 2013, Efron hopped on the content creator train, posting outdoorsy content. Later, he was a production coordinator on films like Ready Player One, The Accountant, Live By Night,&nbsp;and&nbsp;American Sniper.&nbsp;He continued to work as a producer on the Daytime Emmy Award-winning&nbsp;Down To Earth With Zac Efron,&nbsp;a travel documentary starring his brother. In 2019, he began a YouTube channel&mdash;which currently boasts nearly 50K subscribers&mdash;where he picked back up with his outdoors content, including a series called Off The Grid&nbsp;in which he and Zac engage in outdoor activities with no devices, save the camera for documenting their journey.
On June 5, 2024, it was announced that Efron would participate in Traitors, which premiered in January 2025. He, along with Lord Ivar Mountbatten, Dolores Catania, and Gabby Windey, won the show as Faithfuls.
In September 2025, Efron began his&nbsp;Dancing With The Stars journey as a contestant on Season 34. Efron is paired with professional ballroom dancer Daniella Karagach.
