Issa Rae Marries Louis Diame in Vera Wang Haute Couture

Accompanied by close family and friends, Insecure star Issa Rae married her longtime partner Louis Diame over the weekend in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France. 

Rae shared a series of breathtaking images from the ceremony on Instagram, showcasing the beauty of her big day. "A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawang dress. B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed. C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband," wrote the actress in the caption.

For the ceremony, the TV mogul wore a Vera Wang Haute Couture gown complete with a sweetheart neckline and a flouncing tulle skirt. Her groom, a Senegalese businessman, broke from the traditional black and white tuxedo and wore a red velvet suit from Dolce & Gabbana.

Following the wedding, Rae attended her reception in another Vera Wang Haute Couture creation with thin straps and a plunging neckline. The dress also featured a silk crepe bodice and a slitted tulle skirt.
