Joe Jonas' first girlfriend was Mandy Van Duyne, his childhood friend. The pair reportedly dated in high school, and the romance inspired the song, "Mandy" off of the Jonas Brothers' first album. “Mandy is our childhood friend that has always been a part of our lives. She dated Joe at one point. Although they are no longer together, they will be best friends forever,” the band told AOL in an interview early on in their career.  

After the band's big break, the Jonas Brothers began touring with Aly & AJ, another Disney Channel-adjacent band made up of sisters Aly and AJ Michalka. AJ was Jonas' girlfriend from 2006 to 2007. 

Almost ten years after the two dated, AJ revealed a few details about the relationship between the two young stars. “No one knows he was my first kiss. I’m pretty sure I was his too,” AJ told MTV in 2016. “[The Jonas Brothers] opened for us when we were all like, 15, and so we started dating and we were together for a year.” 

One of Joe Jonas' most famous relationships was his brief stint as Taylor Swift's boyfriend. Although they only dated for a few months in 2008, their relationship was memorialized in a handful of songs penned by Swift during the Fearless era, including "Forever & Always," "Mr. Perfectly Fine." "Much Better" by the Jonas Brothers also referenced the relationship, as Jonas wrote "Now I'm done with superstars / And all the tears on her guitar," referring to one of Swift's biggest songs, "Teardrops On My Guitar." Following their breakup, Jonas became the subject of mass ire after Swift revealed on The Ellen Degeneres Show that he broke up with her during a 25-second phone call. 

Years later, the two appeared to have patched things up, as Swift reportedly sent Jonas a baby shower gift after his first child's birth was announced. 

After meeting on the set of the "Lovebug" music video, Camilla Belle was Joe Jonas' girlfriend for a short time in late 2008. After a few public sightings, including a baseball game and several Los Angeles dates, the pair quietly split, although it wasn't confirmed until almost six months later. 

“Yes, it’s true, they have broken up,” Belle's representative told People in 2009. “There is no third party involved and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends.”

Although they only dated for a few months in the spring of 2010, the relationship between Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato went down as one of the most iconic in pop culture history, likely because they also portrayed an on-screen romance in Camp Rock, one of the most beloved Disney movies where they met on set in 2008.

After their breakup, the two stayed in contact for quite some time, and appeared friendly for years following their breakup, even appearing on stage together in 2016. 

Ashley Greene was Joe Jonas' girlfriend in 2010. Greene, who rose to fame as a young actress for her portrayal of the beloved character Alice Cullen in the Twilight franchise, from the summer of 2010 to the spring of 2011. Just a few months into the relationship, a source close to Jonas told People that the star was “head over heels” for Greene, but the pair split early in 2011. 

Years after their breakup in 2016, a controversy involving the former couple emerged after a too-candid Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) that the Jonas Brothers partook saw Joe Jonas answering a question inquiring about the couple's intimate life without first consulting Greene. 

Following Greene's subtle response, an Instagram post that read "Class is timeless," Jonas told Entertainment Weekly, “I mean ultimately, I think of myself as an honest guy. There are just those moments in life where you have to be true to yourself and true to the world,” he said. “I’m not out to hurt anybody, but I think, ultimately, I’m just telling my stories and what I can say from my heart.”

In November 2012, Joe Jonas began dating model Blanda Eggenschwiler. Although the couple were fairly private about their relationship, the two were spotted out and about on several occasions, including official joint red carpet appearances. The two dated for nearly two years, but split in 2014. 

Although they had met in 2008, Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid didn't start dating until 2015. Shortly after the two began their summer romance and were spotted at public events together, Hadid revealed that Jonas had actually asked her out when they first met, and she initially said no. A few months into the fling, the two were spotted on a double date with Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift. Evidently, the pop star had no bad blood towards Jonas, as she seemingly approved of the relationship between one of her closest friends and her ex-boyfriend. 

“Joe and Gigi’s relationship recently ended,” a source told People in late 2015. “Nothing serious happened … it wasn’t a dramatic break up. It was just hard to make it work with their schedules. They will definitely remain friends.”

As with many great modern romances, the relationship between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner began on Instagram. After seeing Turner as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, the singer direct messaged her and the two struck up a romance not long in short time. After a little over a year of Turner becoming Jonas' girlfriend, the singer proposed and the two announced their engagement in the fall of 2017. Two years later, they married and hosted two weddings, one in Las Vegas, and one in France. At the time, Turner was 23 and Jonas was 29. 

The couple welcomed a daughter, Willa, in 2020, and another daughter in 2022. 

After rumors began swirling of a separation between the two, Turner and Jonas announced their divorce in the fall of 2023. “Statement from the two of us: After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” Turner and Jonas both posted on Instagram, confirming the split. 

The former couple have not disclosed their plans on parenting their children, but given Jonas' busy travel schedule throughout 2024, it appears as though the pair's young daughters spent much of their time with Turner. 

A few months after Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's divorce, Jonas was spotted with model Stormi Bree Henley, who was previously linked to fellow model Lucky Blue Smith. Although neither party has spoken publically about the romance, Henley looked to be Jonas' girlfriend in the  early months of 2024 as they were photographed together several times.

“Joe is still dating Stormi and things are going really well," a source close to Jonas told Us Weekly. "They haven’t used the love word yet, but they’ve been seeing each other for a few months now and have been getting more serious over the past several weeks. He hasn’t introduced his kids to Stormi yet, but if things continue going well like they have been, then he would definitely be open to them meeting sometime soon.”

In late May of 2024, the couple reportedly split, and have not been seen together since. 

Joe Jonas' latest romantic partner appears to be Laila Abdallah, a Lebanese actress and model. Just a few weeks after his split from girlfriend Stormi Bree, the pair were spotted looking quite cozy on a secluded beach in Greece.
