An estate in Palm Beach, Florida with&nbsp;exceptionally famous former owners was recently&nbsp;sold for $36 million. The property, located on Billionaire&#39;s Row,&nbsp;is the old <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/pierre-cardin-palais-bulles-vacation-home">beach house</a> of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/vous-n-avez-encore-jamais-vu-ces-photos-de-john-lennon">John Lennon</a> and Yoko Ono, who purchased the home&nbsp;in 1980 and used it as their refuge for a time.

Interestingly, the couple reportedly never visited the seven-bedroom mansion before buying it. Instead, they sent people to take pictures for them, so they could remain anonymous during the buying&nbsp;process. After purchasing the house, they had plans for major renovations.

Originally built by <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/studio-ko-architecture-interview-yves-saint-laurent-museum">architect</a> Addison Mizner in 1919, the Spanish-style residence has a stucco exterior and terracotta tiles. The over-14,000-square-foot interior&nbsp;still maintains an air of opulence, with details such as complex patterned ceilings in several rooms, chandeliers, and large French doors that occupy&nbsp;an entire wall of the formal dining room, providing&nbsp;a beautiful view of the pool and the sea. Other amenities at the property include a three-car garage, two pools, tennis courts, beach access and a cabin.
