There's no doubt that at one point in all our lives, many of us&nbsp;thought we would somehow end up being Mrs. Bieber. That <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/justin-bieber-style-evolution-songs-baby" target="_blank" rel="noopener">signature hair flip</a>, killer smile, and undeniable musical talent had tweens all over the world swooning over <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/justin-bieber-performing-at-the-mtv-vmas-first-time-in-6-years" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Justin Bieber</a>, most especially in the early 2010s. Remember when fans would quite literally run and chase him wherever he went? For die-hard Beliebers, that feeling never really went away. It was indeed the canon event that marked a generation's collective obsession with pop culture. You just had to be there.&nbsp;
However, as a Belieber, the hardest pill to swallow is that only one person could claim the coveted <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/10-things-you-didnt-know-hailey-baldwin" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mrs. Bieber title</a>, and as we know today, it's none other than supermodel and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/hailey-bieber-debuts-new-beauty-brand-rhode" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rhode Skin</a> founder <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/glow-in-the-dark-nails-how-to" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hailey Baldwin Bieber</a>. Though Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber (then Baldwin) didn't start dating until late 2015 to early 2016, their relationship was almost ten years in the making. The now-married couple have actually known each other since Justin was 15 and Hailey was 12. The two first met backstage at the TODAY&nbsp;show, when Hailey's father, actor and producer Stephen Baldwin, introduced the two before Justin went on to perform in the show. Years later, in Justin's docuseries, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uc-JxJFxxUA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Seasons</a>, he recalled that given how early in the morning their arranged meet-and-greet was, Hailey was pretty nonchalant about meeting him for the first time. "She got there and her eyes were closed [...] She didn't care at all." If only they knew they'd end up together!&nbsp;

Despite already having known each other for a few years at that point, Justin and Hailey Bieber didn't start hanging out until sometime in 2014. During that time, fans noticed how close the two were getting, as Baldwin was featured in many of Bieber's posts, including a few group photos with BFFs Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
But, in late 2014, fans speculated that the two were more than friends. However, Bieber quickly denied the rumors with an <a href="https://www.instagram.com/justinbieber/p/wpI-CSgvlD/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram post</a>. "People are crazy. I'm super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise," he captioned the post. Don't ever say that he's not a man of his word&mdash;Bieber kept his promise and let the "world know otherwise" soon after they got engaged four years later.&nbsp;

Ah, yes, the controversial New Year's Eve kiss. It feels like it was just yesterday that the whole Belieber fandom was seething over this photo. After denying their relationship for a little over a year, it seemed that Justin and Hailey were finally public. Or so we thought.&nbsp;

February 2016: Dating, but not exclusive?

Despite going Instagram official, Hailey Baldwin revealed that she and Bieber were not exclusive as she walked the red carpet for the amfAR gala in New York City. "We are not an exclusive couple," <a href="https://youtu.be/0vyUTv4AzwI?si=YcOx_QQZq3v0H6iA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Baldwin told&nbsp;E!</a>. "He's about to go on tour. Relationships at this age are already complicated, but I don't like to really talk about it 'cause it's between me and him," she added.&nbsp;
The day after, Justin Bieber confirmed in an <a href="https://www.gq.com/story/justin-bieber-gq-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">exclusive interview with GQ</a> that Baldwin was "someone I really love," but added that he didn't "want to be held down by anything" at the moment. "I don't want to feel like the girl I love is an added responsibility," Bieber noted. He continued on to explain that given the mistakes he made in the past, he wanted be more careful of the feelings of those he loves, "making sure I'm not damaging them." "What if Hailey ends up being the girl I'm gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it's always gonna be damaged," Bieber explained.&nbsp;

August 2016: Justin unfollows Hailey... and dates Sofia Richie

After a few months on tour, it looked like the two were no longer friends after Justin unfollowed Hailey on Instagram. While fans speculated that their relationship fell apart sometime after the Purpose World Tour started, an insider source apparently told&nbsp;<a href="https://people.com/celebrity/hailey-baldwin-super-upset-at-justin-bieber-amid-sofia-richie-drama/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>&nbsp;that Bieber was "not happy about [Baldwin's] friendship with Drake."
And, in case you missed it, Bieber started dating <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/sofia-richie-grainge-pregnant-baby-girl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sofia Richie</a> that same month. Remember when he deactivated his Instagram for almost five months because fans (and his longtime on-again off-again girlfriend, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/selena-gomez-boyfriend-benny-blanco-dating-relationship-timeline" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Selena Gomez</a>) disapproved of his and Richie's relationship? So, it was safe to say that he and Hailey were officially on the outs. Still, given how close they were for so long, we didn't expect them to totally ghost each other for so long, and most certainly not for almost two years.&nbsp;

May 2018: Friends again... apparently

Then there's the comment that reignited their friendship. After not speaking for two years, it seemed that all was well again between Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin when Bieber commented on Baldwin's Instagram post for her ELLE cover shoot. "Run forest run haha," he said.&nbsp;

Then, after a slew of public sightings together, the two were spotted kissing in New York City. All was right in the world again for all the Jailey fans out there!&nbsp;

Just two months after the two rekindled their relationship, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got engaged while on vacation in the Bahamas. The news first broke after <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2018/07/08/justin-bieber-engaged-to-hailey-baldwin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">eyewitnesses told&nbsp;</a><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2018/07/08/justin-bieber-engaged-to-hailey-baldwin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a> that they saw Bieber get down on one knee. According to the report, the two were salsa dancing until Bieber proposed. Of course, it didn't take long for word to get around, and Justin confirmed the news two days later.&nbsp;
In a lengthy Instagram post, Justin captioned, "My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn&rsquo;t want to spend it with anybody else." "You make me so much better and we compliment eachother so well!! Can&rsquo;t wait for the best season of life yet! It&rsquo;s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense," he added.

July to August 2018: Spotted in New York City

Soon after their engagement, the couple were seen in and around New York City on romantic dates. Obviously, not all fans were happy to see their favorite teen idol now officially off the market. And with that engagement ring, could we really blame them for their jealousy? Still, the public displays of affection only seemed to solidify their bond, much to the chagrin of some die-hard admirers.&nbsp;

It seems that Justin Bieber and fianc&eacute;e Hailey Baldwin couldn't wait to tie the knot when they were <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2018/09/13/justin-bieber-hailey-baldwin-marriage-license-courthouse/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">spotted at a Manhattan courthouse</a> obtaining a marriage license. Fans soon speculated that they had also gotten married in a civil ceremony since Hailey was wearing white. Though neither of them commented on the rumors, they confirmed their marriage when Hailey changed her Instagram username from @haileybaldwin to @haileybieber in November.&nbsp;

Hailey Bieber called on Off White's creative director Virgil Abloh to design her ceremony gown. The delicate lace off-the-shoulder number's piece-de-resistance was its extra-long train, embroidered with "till death do us apart." 

A year after they tied the knot, the Biebers celebrated their marriage with a ceremony in South Carolina. The power couple was featured in <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UpDTpPJtWM" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Calvin Klein's 50th-anniversary campaign</a>&nbsp;alongside Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky, and Troye Sivan, to name a few. Though the supermodel is certainly no stranger to cameras, the campaign also marked the third time the singer was featured in the brand's advertisements.&nbsp;

January 2020:&nbsp;Seasons Premiere

For the premiere of Justin Bieber's docuseries Seasons, the couple appeared hand-in-hand together and even shared a kiss on the red carpet. Though the docuseries delved into Justin's struggles with addiction, sobriety, and the making of his fifth studio album, Changes, it also gave an exclusive glimpse into his and Hailey's relationship (plus a few extra clips from their South Carolina wedding).&nbsp;

What better way to celebrate a wedding anniversary than a Met Gala date (as you do)? Though the annual event is usually held on the first Monday of May, the event was postponed to September in 2021 due to COVID-19. Though it wasn't the first time either of them had attended the illustrious event, the Biebers surely took the opportunity to have a major red carpet couple moment.&nbsp;

September 2022: Hailey spills all the secrets on "Call Her Daddy"&nbsp;

Though Hailey Bieber is notoriously private about sharing the details of their relationship, she finally broke her silence on Alex Cooper's Spotify podcast, "Call Her Daddy," in September 2022. In the interview, Bieber responded to allegations claiming that she "stole" her husband from Selena Gomez, given that the last time the two dated was in March 2018. "I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody," Bieber noted.&nbsp;

Justin and Hailey Bieber are known for their mismatched outfits&mdash;Hailey always shows up in her usual glamorous self, and Justin is, well, Justin. But for the launch of Rhode Skin's limited-edition Peptide Lip Treatment, the couple took "mismatched" to a whole new level when Justin showed up in a casual grey hoodie, shorts, and hotel slippers. Needless to say, this started rumors online surrounding the state of their relationship, with fans claiming that it seemed that Justin didn't want to show up to support Hailey. Still, Justin debunked the rumors by posting a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/justinbieber/p/CwgPjPiPY8t/?img_index=1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">few cute photos</a> from the launch day.&nbsp;

The couple is no stranger to divorce allegations. As mentioned earlier, there have been quite a few unfounded rumors speculating about their divorce throughout their relationship. You would think that after that much time together, haters would eventually stop hating. But earlier this year, fans speculated that the two were having issues after Hailey's father, Stephen, <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/stephen-baldwin-justin-hailey-prayer-b2504970.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">asked fans to pray for the couple</a>.
