Young Photos of Lisa Marie Presley
In honor of what would have been the singer's 55th birthday, L'OFFICIEL looks back at photos of her remarkable life.
Lisa Marie Presley was an American singer-songwriter who, despite being the daughter of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, did music her own way. She was also the only child of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley as well as her father’s sole heir to his estate. Presley was known as the daughter of the “Can’t Help Falling in Love” singer, but to those who knew of her music, she was a rockstar.
Her musical career eclipsed three studio albums: To Whom it May Concern, Now What, and Storm & Grace. Across the span of her career, Presley also debuted single songs, some of which were duets with her father. Outside of her music, Presley was also an inspiration in the fashion industry. From goth glamour to boho-chic, her style was considered eclectic and was mimicked by many. It was her 1997 Gianni Versace-themed Met Gala look that sent fashion into a frenzy state, her glamorous off-the-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit was considered a statement that was out of her rockstar style. As a humanitarian, The “Lights Out” singer was active in the relief efforts after Hurricane Katrina. She was also involved in the Grammy Foundation, a program that recognizes public high schools that are making an outstanding contribution to music.
Presley passed away on January 12, 2023. She is survived by her three daughters, Riley Keough, Harper Lockwood, and Finley Lockwood. In honor of what would have been Presley’s 55th birthday, L’OFFICIEL looks back at her earlier life.
