Kidman and Urban first met at the G'Day Gala in Los Angeles. The two bonded over their childhoods in Australia, then exchanged numbers, but it wasn't until four months later that Urban reached out to her.&nbsp;

May 2006: Nicole Kidman announces engagement&nbsp;

After dating for a year, Nicole Kidman announced to reporters that she was engaged to Urban after bringing him as her date to a gala for the United Nations Developement Fund for Women.&nbsp;

June 2006: Kidman and Urban get married in Sydney&nbsp;

Shortly after their engagement announcement, Kidman and Urban got married by the beach at St Patricks Estate in Manly, a suburb of Sydney. The wedding was attended by 230 of their closest friends and family, including Kidman's ex-husband Tom Cruise. The couple headed to French Polynesia for their honeymoon after the reception.&nbsp;

December 2010: Birth of their second daughter

Kidman and Urban's second daughter, Faith Margaret, was born in Nashville via surrogate in 2010.

September 2014: Death of Nicole Kidman's father

Keith Urban showed his support for Kidman and her family by singing a rendition of "Amazing Grace" in remembrance of Kidman's father, Antony, who had passed away unexpectedly after a fall.&nbsp;

March 2018: Keith Urban shares insight into marriage&nbsp;

At a panel for the South by Southwest film festival in Austin, Texas, Urban credited Kidman as being integral in his sobriety journey, <a href="https://people.com/music/keith-urban-shares-advice-demi-lovato-post-overdose/">saying,</a> "I'm just alcoholically wired. June 2021: Kidman and Urban celebrate their 15th anniversary&nbsp;

The couple shared Instagram posts of each other and celebrated 15 years of marriage.
