Already making a name for himself, Levon Hawke stunned on the red carpet debut at the 2023 <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/2023-cannes-film-festival-lineup-films-movies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cannes Film Festival</a> alongside his mom, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/uma-thurman-best-movies-pulp-fiction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Uma Thurman</a>. Making appearances in short films and playing shows alongside his sister, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/stranger-things-season-5-details-netflix-plot-trailer-cast" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Maya Hawke</a>, Levon is rising to fame on his own terms. If the name "Hawke" sounds familiar, you're not the only one. Levon is the brother of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/best-fashion-moments-film-tv-2022-bridgerton-euphoria-do-revenge-blonde" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stranger Thing</a>'s Maya Hawke. Their parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, met on the set of the film Gattaca (1997) and were soon married and welcomed their daughter in 1998. Levon was then born in 2002, but the parents split in 2003. The family, however, remains tight-knit and supportive of one another, often posting each other's successes on social media.&nbsp;

He made his acting debut in a short film.&nbsp;

Though he is proceeded by Hollywood legends, Levon Hawke did not make his acting debut until 2018 in the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/saint-laurent-spring-summer-2021-short-film-anthony-vaccarello-leo-reilly-jim-jarmusch" target="_blank" rel="noopener">short film</a>, Blackout. Directed by Sam Nivola, this film tells the story of Hawke's character, Jacob Harris, who unknowingly commits several crimes. Before this, Hawke appeared as himself on Celebrities Uncensored in 2003.&nbsp;

This is not his first Cannes.&nbsp;

This year's Cannes Film Festival was Hawke's first event in some time, but the actor has joined his mom on several other occasions. In 2017, he also accompanied her to the same iconic French film festival. He even made his fashion show debut, attending the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/dior-haute-couture-spring-2020-runway-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior Spring/Summer 2020</a> with Thurman.&nbsp;

He may be in Stranger Things Season 5.&nbsp;

Levon Hawke's sister, Maya, is known for her role in the Netflix thriller,&nbsp;Stranger Things. Fans of the show have hypothesized that her brother might be joining the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/celebrity-kids-going-to-college" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cast</a> for the fifth and final season. Pictures have surfaced showing Levon on set in an 80s-inspired look, possibly solidifying this rumor.

Like his sister, Levon is gifted in both the acting realm and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/beyonce-renaissance-tour-fashion-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">music</a>. Hawke frequently posts pictures of his guitar on his Instagram. He has played alongside Maya during her tour and even has his own band. It seems like the entire Thurman-Hawke family is talented in several ways.&nbsp;

He will star alongside Tom Holland in The Crowded Room.&nbsp;

Hawke's newest project is Apple TV+'s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/sober-celebrities-who-dont-drink-alcohol" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Crowded Room</a>. Starring <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/tom-holland-zendaya-relationship-timeline-spider-man" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tom Holland</a>, Levon Hawke will portray Jonny in the miniseries <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/best-book-to-movie-adaptations-2010s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">adapted</a> based on the 1981 novel. The show follows a young man, Danny Sullivan (Holland), who is a reclusive teen and is arrested after a shooting at the Rockefeller Center in 1979.&nbsp;
