Zendaya Is Officially Engaged to Tom Holland After Diamond Debut at the Golden Globes

When it comes to Zendaya's fashion, it's all in the details. She and her longtime stylist Law Roach are known to create incredible sartorial spectaculars that offer more every time you look. This was no different Sunday night at the Golden Globes. The actor may not have joined the red carpet with her beau Tom Holland, but it seemed like there was a subtle detail related to him in her outfit: Zendaya wore a huge rock on her ring finger, and the morning after the awards show, she officially confirmed her engagement to Holland.

Everyone was holding their breath when Zendaya stepped onto the 2025 Golden Globe red carpet, but what caught everyone by surprise was a diamond ring on none other than her ring finger. A source has officially confirmed to TMZ that the couple is engaged Monday morning. The source said Holland popped the question sometime between Christmas and New Year's. He kept the proposal "romantic and intimate," just between them, according to the source. The couple met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and have been dating since 2021.

Zendaya was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance as Tashi Donaldson in Luca Guadagnino's Challengers film, and despite not winning the award, she certainly radiated with happiness. Her beautiful Louis Vuitton burnt orange gown and Bulgari jewelry set the internet on fire, but the rock on her ring finger created a frenzy unlike any other.

Holland was nowhere to be found at the ceremony tonight, but this isn't unusual for the couple. In a recent interview for Men's Health, he talked about why the pair haven't walked on the red carpet together and have opted to support each other by staying on the sidelines.

“Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,” he said in the interview. The duo also sparked engagement/marriage rumors in April 2024 when a source told PEOPLE that they've been thinking about the next step, and they cemented things in 2025 with details on the wedding yet to be shared.
