Dior Raises a Glass to Meatpacking Pop-Up Store
When quintessential Parisian couture house Dior decides to open their doors for a pop-up in New York, count us in. Last night. the brand hosted a soirée for the opening of their pop-up shop in Manhattan's meatpacking district, with guests such as Olivia Palermo and the house's Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, in attendance. The shop is decorated all-over with animal sculptures in the brand's toile de jouy printed canvas.
The pop-up is perfect timing for the holiday season, as the in-store exclusives include a Dior Maison collection designed by Chiuri. Consisting of decorative home objects accented with the toile, such as ceramic ornaments and pillows, the capsule was also previewed by the likes Leandra Medine Cohen and Hannah Bronfman between the rounds of champagne and hors-d'oeuvres. There's even an embroiderer on-staff to personalize the brand's coveted Book Tote. No wonder Manhattan's fashion pack came out in full force.
