Chloë Sevigny, Ansel Elgort, and more Celebrate Fendi Mania
While high-low dressing is every fashion lover’s bread & butter, Fendi is elevating the practice and taking it to the next step. New York’s fashion crowd turned out to the Italian luxury brand’s Madison Avenue store for the launch of Fendi Mania, the brand’s athleisurely appropriation of Instagram artist @hey_reilly’s FILA/Fendi logo mashup.
The party celebrated the online and in-store launches of the collection, available starting today through the end of the year. With seven pop-up shops worldwide, the see-now, buy-now concept was clearly a favorite of It girls and Hollwyood's finest alike. Chloë Sevigny posed for photos alongside actor Ansel Elgort; even fashion buisnesswoman and fashion darling Olivia Palermo also stopped by to show her support.
DJ Kitty Cash took care of the tunes while other guests got to see each new piece on glorious display: paying homage to the house’s legacy, the collection focuses its color palette on those closely associated with the brand’s legacy: yellow and black, red and blue. And while many of the attendees showed their support by donning the new pieces themselves, Winnie Harlow took things up a notch by posing alongside the dressed mannequins for a guerilla fashion photoshoot.
With a collection aimed to please both the streetwear-savvy and Fendi’s high fashion clientèle, pieces big and small from the collection are worth adding to the top of any holiday wish list.
