Tania Bulhões began selling everything from plates to paintings in a small shop in the countryside of Brazil. Now, after growing to 40 storefronts in her native country and acquiring the heritage porcelain factory Royal Limoges in France, the eponymous tableware company launched in the US.

"With our recent expansion in Brazil and alliance with Royal Limoges, the timing aligns perfectly and this expansion represents not just a new chapter for our company, but an exciting opportunity to share our artistry, elegance and craftsmanship with a new audience,” CEO Virgilio Castro Cunha said in a press release.

Tania Bulhões recently launched two of its popular lines stateside. "Portrait" is a collection of hand-painted tableware designed by Bulhões and hand-painted by craftsmen in Limoges. Its designs, as the name suggests, are focused on artful presentations of faces. The second, "Casa das Orquídeas Rouge de Fer," reimagines Bulhões' childhood through colorful orchids and imagery reminiscent of her family's countryside Uberaba home. Both collections invite flair and function to combine, allowing for homes to become works of art. Details across each, like gold embellishments and distinct hues, mix a modern feeling with a traditional sense of elegance.

Along with the US launch, the Brazilian company also debuted four scents offered in the form of sprays, diffusers, soaps, moisturizers, and scented candles. The four scents—Chá Branco, Casa das Orquídeas, Figo Negro and Floresta—were crafted in France's Grasse (famously where many top luxury perfumes are made).

This December, shoppers can experience Tania Bulhões firsthand in New York at its ninth-floor showroom at 150 East 58th Street. With the holiday season just around the corner, give the gift of uniquely crafted homeware for those who embrace the most elegant aspects of living.

The brand hosted a dinner party in celebration of its expansion with L'OFFICIEL Thursday night in Manhattan. Guests joined the ritzy affair with a table set by the brand's best pieces, of course, and multiple courses of food and drinks. Keep scrolling to see the highlights.
